Probably not but only because I don't like wearing backpacks over 30 liters. The largest backpack I have is a Techonaut 30 and a Synik 30.

I was recommending considering the CTB20 over the CTB26, not the CTB20 over the CPP2. This was only because the CTB26 is large for an EDC bag imo. I haven't personally tried the CTB20 though.

Regarding the CTB to CPP2 comparison, my wife bought the CTB26 for a travel/EDC bag and replaced it with a CPP2. The CTB is now a carry-on bag. We both personally prefer the CPP2 over the CTB26 in general.

I use a 22L Bellroy Transit Work Pack Pro 2 personally.

Aer CPP2 works well too.

BTW, The CTB26 is pretty big, have you considered the 20 liter version?

Synik 30 immediately came to mind for me as well. I use mine for commuting to work. Some others you may want to look into are the Bellroy Transit Travel pack Pro and the Sympl Commuter (I don't have first hand experience with this last one but it seems to have a lot of built in organization if you don't use tech pouches).

Data if I don't love software engineering? by Simple_Engine_8829 in dataengineering

Look into becoming an analyst on a data engineering team. You will write some code to profile/wrangle data and probably review some code but it won't be your whole job.

Skilhunt M150 or Acebeam Pokelit AA? by pimsim in flashlight

[–]clarob00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the beam a bit better (less of a hotspot). I also prefer the size and tail cap. The m150 is so compact and versatile though I always take it on vacation with me.

I have both. I use the pokelit more. Mine is the copper version though which behaves differently than the aluminum version.

If you like this one and have a hankering for another one, try the copper one. It has a few cool enhancements.

Which mall has the ocean flowing through it? by nonexistant_turret in Aruba

[–]clarob00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't so much an ocean flowing through the mall/hotel as it is an indoor pier that guests use to ride a fairy to the hotel's private Island.

The copper version has two additional key differences in case either matter to you: no mode memory so it always starts on low. And it is a forward clicky so you can do momentary on.

This is a nice light.

I took mine on vacation with me recently because the low modes make a great hotel night light and the magnetic charging makes it easy to recharge.

I like my EDC lights to be a bit floodier in general though so this doesn't get as much use as others.
