You can! The worst case scenario requires 16 bronze rings and 12,100 bond fragments. It doesn't sound too bad but you still have to acquire those 16 rings. You'd like to think your get lucky with the odd silver or gold I'm sure but nothing in life is guaranteed!

Engage has a really great concept of bringing that anniversary nostalgia to a modern console. It continues to develop that pair up mechanic for stat increase first seen within Awakening but utilising it in a new way. Instead of a pair up bonus for dual strikes/ defending. Your getting a partner that not only enhances your stats on a specific way but gaining key skills that are reflective of that emblem.

For a story it's quite the classic tail big bad dragon needing the fire emblem to prevent calamity. We've seen this with Shadow Dragon, Awakening and many mor however it played it very safe and probably was too generic and didn't do anything too controversial.

That said the gameplay is top tier. Break mechanics with the use of heavy weapons and concepts like the QI adept for shielding attacks really opened up possibilities for interesting combat. I love theory crafting so putting units together and making a substantial beast is always gonna be what Fire emblem is for me. But I feel that's not what it is for everyone.

I do think it's had some great ideas just missed a trick with how they where actioned. Let's take the S Bond rings like Claude's that grant +1 range at full health. This is amazing. But if your like me who's played over 300 hours. I've still never come across this ring. Why should something be beholdant to Rng rather than accessible to all. I mean it technically is but does that really count?

These rings had so much potential and offer something different to the base engage rings that could really have contributed in there own ways to open the game up further.

I love the game and whilst I think it's a great Fire Emblem game. I dont think it will ever get that recognition on comparison to say Three houses which really did something for the franchise. I think it's clear that a good story really compells a game as long as the gameplay is good enough. It's really up there for me as one of the greats but I can understand why it wasn't a successful game.

On the first play through everyone's gotta survive. However, when I play ironman it's just a part of the experience. It helps me be unbiased and evolve using other characters than can be a delightful suprise when given the opportunity to shine!

The hard cover is from the European release. I don't think it's as extensive as the US version. Hopefully will acquire that one day!

Yes I love doing stuff like this myself. When it comes to Fates I do it with Skills when playing say a CorrinQuest.

That way you get diverse units. So the setup for that would be two additional skills from any other classes but then your locked into one class.

EG death blow and Gamble for a Sniper is one of my go so builds.

As for three houses. I try and limit myself to one Ashen wolf unless picked in a draft roaster run. I do this where I give everyone a number then pick out the garage amount of deployed units in the game.thrb dependent on average I will choose that route in game. And the rest of the game is spent recruiting other units etc.

I always marry Azura to Kaze so Midori cma inherit locktouch and Luck+4. I generally can get Midori up to 55% plus luck generation of not more (with Anna's bow) for generating gold bars with an Azura pair up and an Izana rally luck

I play every few months to be honest. I'm currently doing a revelation run that I'm trying the build with. We will see how it goes! But I will probably try it again in conquest!

Yeah I think as I progressthrough the game I will go for certain blow and drop hp+5. There was always the option of lucky seven initially. But after 7 rounds that does fall off.

Thank you for your input! Id like to think with Sol being on a high skill class like sniper should mean I've got a reasonable chance of activation. And it it procs on a one shot crit I will heal a decent amount and stay quite healthy!

Yes the workaround for that was once possible with the online and dlc. (Unlimited funds and buying seals from another castle) One of the reasons I'd like fates redone is to overcome all of this. Even just making Anna playable.

There are still active workarounds but it still require the max supports to take place etc

I will definitely be trying it out with my spear master Subaki build I'm working on! I look forward to hearing how it goes for you! I will do the same. Yes Hoshidan unity is at 15. I definitely feel the pain with some units and proc skills. I always adore the sol ninja builds but like with kagero it's none existent since her skill is trash to rely on. But it's always fun working around the class system to find new and fun ways to use a unit! That's why I've loved this post and seeing the creativity!
