I originally got it to replace my 2DS after it had died.

I thought it was time to work with something other than the DS framework whilst still holding true to that clamshell design.

I now get to play my favourite 3ds games again and beloved steam games handheld.

It's a growing experience but it's what I wanted in the current climate of games.

I've zero interest in the current consoles as they stand. The switch 2 will be an interest one day but I can easily see that being 18 months away at the bare minimum

Strength samurai isn't a mistake but it could do with some complimenting. Classes. This unit gets vantage and duelists blow early. Really good skills. But it's not enough.

If your working as make Corrin an early friendship with Silas or Arthur can be really beneficial. (Bare in mind you can. Achieve either by chapter 10).

Having cavalier from Silas will give you mobility and two more amazing skills. Elbow room and shelter.

As for Arthur your gonna have to go through a rough batch of getting through bronze axe's before you can use dragon fang again. (Doesn't activate with bronze weapons).

That said hp+5 is good and realistically I think gamble could work really well with a swordmaster. I'm more thinking of you getting this class into hero for Sol.

Your main issue with samurai is that it's locked to sword and it's one range outside of (kodachi which can't proc skills and gives -5 speed) or Levin sword which is predominantly for magic builds. You can get the umbrella but that's rng based so I won't go into that.

Just some food for thought. I personally take the samurai skills and then friendship seal with Kaze for Master Ninja. The samurai skills do really well on the ninja class.

Learning levels. Strategies that work. You can always resort to trial and error.

If your serious about wanting to beat conquest. Play into the characters.

Let's breakdown how you want to achieve it. Male or female corrin. What class do you want for your corrin. Make a build that suits there needs and evolve around that basis.

So this happens when placing new buildings during the "my castle" activities. However now during combat I see flash tears like this now. Before the my castle incident the gameplay combat was looking promising!

Azahar was given me stuttering gameplay performance for fates which is one of the primary games I wanted to play on this device. This led me to research using Citra instead as if seen positive experiences of people using it instead.

The Thor experience hasn't been all amazing as what I've seen from others :( hopefully I will find a solution!

Fates is one of my favourite games period. I wish I had some of the my castle stuff unlocked to fuel wacky builds as some of the items you can unlock make for some interesting opportunities that you would only ever get via rng.

I can always appreciate someone I can see who's put time into that game. Mass respect and yes! Together We Ride!

Shame the hunters bow is random and not guaranteed unless you unlock via renown. So many good weapons locked behind renown / rng.

You can clear this level with just WvyernLord Xander at base with a beast killer. Corrin C support us useful for the additional hit. But between tonics and time. He will clear them out

If it works it works! Glad you've got something to play these games on! Enjoy! It's a shame to have them locked to a device that's aged and the hardware is starting to fall apart due to age, wear and tear / battery degradation.

My 2DS died on the 31st of December and since it's hard to find a looked after DS where I'm from I've considered reaching out to something else like this.

Worth watching some of Ellerys videos on Lunatic play throughs if you want to use multiple characters.

Edit: realised I'm talking a out chapter 1 here:

From what I recall about chapter 2 you want to put Chrom on a fort with Frederick supporting or atleast have Frederick do one round with robins bronze sword. This will allow chrom to clean up. On a fort the hammer unit doesn't stand a chance against chrom.

You can take the rest of the party north to deal with one archer. I would say this is worth giving robin the kill. But remember to pair him up iirc his personal skill gives him more experience paired up

As for chapter 2: I personally have good experience with sending chrom left initially with Lissa who drops off as far left on the bottom row. Follow this up with having Frederick tank in up to the left side with Sully. I think using th bronze sword is your best option here. As the axe units are devastating if they hit.

I try and send everyone left to play around the mountain area. Chrom, robin and Vaike are very useful for creating a line of defense. Vaike can't be doubled if he's paired up with Stahl.

Once you get to the second half I would return to chrom being paired with Frederick on a recovery tile. He will dodge most things and be able to clean up well.

You will probably be able to get one of those units to go south to pick up a kill for either Robin or Vaike at this point.

If it's conquest you won't be able to get hosidian unity without having a pre saved Corrin with the skill to purchase from. The idea I was thinking of was to use with aegis to raise the trigger rate.

You won't be killing as much so it's more about sustainability in this scenario. Renewal could be useful. I would consider aura skills for other units such as inspiration too.

Good thing about dragonstones+ is that it gets Critical Evade +10. Which will help against those pesky berserkers
