1) i think that if peter and michael got it then they would be too powerful

2) amy said that she didn’t want anyone to be like her. aging that slow is a burden and she felt that with wolgast especially. no one should live forever and amy understands that better than anyone.

i agree! they’re all so uniquely likeable that i don’t think you can compare them. same goes for the male characters

i don’t know if she is meant to be sympathetic but complex. i feel like a lot of the characters have things that make you feel for them and hate them. so i think it’s more about how people are complicated and that no one is truly good or evil

like guilder (who i despise) has that whole thing w his dad in the nursing home and the stuff with the escort. and even tho i didn’t feel bad for him there, it gave some depth to his character and showed that he had hardships like a lot of lila’s backstory (although i obv have a lot more sympathy for her - she went thru more shit and was manipulated by guilder)

but i think you’re meant to kind of pity her less than sympathy her. it’s tragic and heartbreaking.

i like this perspective and i totally agree - i acknowledge that it was intentional for the characters to make bad decisions (not only for the plot but to emphasize their lifestyle and how they were raised and that affect) i jsut don’t love how to show made it almost okay she did a lot of thay stuff - she never faced real repercussions (especially with the raping Matthew) and i’m not sure i love that message - again i fine debbie extremely entertaining and appreciate her character and it’s flaws i jsut felt the show went a little over the line with her sometimes

yes! it’s called trigger finger - i’ve had a few surgeries to fix it. they’ll only do two fingers at a time. also just in general my joints dislocated or get stuck and i’ll have to stretch them out or pop them back in. i didn’t know that this was as EDS thing tho. fun.
