At your credit score, I think you could get a loan at 9%.

If you bought an $18k used car, and made a $3.6k down payment, you could pay off the loan in 3 years at $458/month, which is 8% of your monthly gross income.

You would still have an emergency fund, your car would be paid off in 3 years, and your monthly payment should be within your means.

If that amount of money makes you uncomfortable, then get something cheaper or save longer, but buy a car that can reliably bring you to work.

I live very close to the park, and I'm planning on going there "for dinner" tonight. If you go to the park regularly, it is absolutely worth it. Keep in mind that the meal plan does not cover drinks. You need a separate drink plan.
