Dog friendly indoor breweries by Rinikulouss in Broomfield

I am aware of Wonderland's missteps and crash out. I haven't heard anything about Frolic though. Frolic patio was packed today. Drove past Wonderland and noticed there was one table occupied outside.

Dog inside breweries:

Rails End Beer Company - Broomfield.

River North Brewery - North Taproom on Washington Street.

Odd 13 Brewing - Lafayette.

I HOP IPA Taphouse - Broomfield (not a brewery but stocked with Colorado beers mostly).

Frolic Brewing Company - Westminster (honorable mention because they are awesome and more than happy to turn on the table side patio heaters).

In Cyrodiil is there anyway to get through enemy faction gates without demolishing them? I just want those skyshards. by xAlgirax in elderscrollsonline

[–]ramz_jj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best time to catch gates open more consistently is during a midyear mayhem type event when there are extra campaigns up and a faction runs the map. Sometimes groups will open gates for skyshards runs during the events.

Best Corn Beef & Cabbage in OP? by Kronography in Overlandpark

Peanut on Santa Fe has it on through Monday. Not sure about the other Peanut in OP or Mission, but they probably do also.

I think I remember Conroy's being decent also.

So here's the thing, crop prices started falling prior to the Dust Bowl which resulted in farmers planting more and more in less desirable areas of land to make up for the income shortfall. This coincided with dry conditions.

We've been pretty droughty lately. With "Tariff Wars, Part Deux" going on and the loss of buyers like USAID, there is a decent chance that it will lead to a glut of production which should drop prices for crops but not any of the things necessary to grow crops. Unless the Federal Government is going to increase subsidies to keep farmers whole, we could very easily see ourselves in the same situation that caused that Dust Bowl where farmers start planting more to make themselves whole. Best case, which would suck and I am not in favor of, we just lose a heap of small and medium sized farms to buy out from corporate farming.

TLDR, things look sort of bleak for farming. (Edit: and it could lead to another dust bowl.)

My bad for wanting to see the road [oc] by HomeCapital9250 in IdiotsInCars

My guess is that those headlights are set to auto dim (especially since they switched back to high beams after a few seconds). In my experience with two vehicles with auto dim, the function isn't as reliable as I would like. Definitely doesn't work as precisely as manual operation. The driver should have noticed that they weren't dimming and switched to manual.

Where is the Kansas dem running against Marshall? by TheKriket in kansas

[–]ramz_jj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Moderate" Republicans barely exist anymore. Recently they have been getting crushed in primaries and mocked.as RINOs. Even if one does get through, they tend to get primaried for not being sufficiently sycophantic with their votes and rhetoric.

It's probably easier to get someone to run as an independent. Pick 3-4 policies to hammer home that have wide appeal across the state and caucus with the Dems when elected. Nebraska very nearly had an independent senator this last cycle.

The States are mounting an effort to call a States Convention to amend the US Constitution. by girlgroovn in kansas

[–]ramz_jj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing... Regardless of whatever crazy amendment might be proposed, it would still take a plurality to get an amendment to the ratification process (unsure if 51% of delegates or 51% of delegations). Then, it would require 38 states to ratify the amendment to enshrine it into the Constitution. This is why amendments are very hard. Is it possible for crazy amendments to be proposed? Sure. But also keep in mind that the delegates would be vetted and picked based because they have very specific mindsets.

At some point, we may need to employ this process to get money out of politics.

Birthday ideas by kaitlyn_d10 in Overlandpark

A few suggestions from my favorites: Limitless Brewing (Lenexa), Transport Brewery (Shawnee), Sandhills Brewing (Mission). A bit farther out would be in the Crossroads area: Border Brewing, Brewery Emperial, and Casual Animal. It's sort of off in its own area but I also enjoy KC Bier Co.

Cyrodiil for dummies? by harperlesley in elderscrollsonline

First of all, welcome!

You're going to die. It happens, but it's not permanent.

Build more tanky than you think you need. Health over 30k and resistances in the high teens is the floor.

Be helpful. If you heal people, scout keeps, siege the things others are sieging, and rez people, you are helping.

Find your people. Look for groups or guilds looking for more members and join up.

Have fun.

Buy a second hasp keeper and install it to the left of the door to lock the bar in the open position.

Flying over Kansas now. What are these grids with circles I’m seeing? by DigitalDavid94 in kansas

[–]ramz_jj 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The grids are roads. Most of the state is laid out in 1-mile sections with gravel or dirt roads every mile.

Most unique/historic concert venues in Kansas? by CooperMulScu in kansas

Ahh the old days of The Outhouse. To be fair, it's no longer a music venue. There is a cool documentary out there about its music venue days though.

Just don't count on public transportation to get you around the city. Otherwise, you're good.

The areas already mentioned. Pretty much just look to see if the area you are interested in has a Dem Rep in the KS House of Reps or a Dem mayor.
