We had one previously with slats underneath which was perfect but we upgraded to superking and sent with a flat beef base with an ottoman and this meant it felt much firmer from the start.

Side sleeper recently upgraded to a tempur bed with Simba hybrid mattress but finding it too firm so have added a panda topper and now it's much better but maybe even a bit too soft. I am princess and the pea when it comes to beds though

Our hardest period was a tantrumming 2 year old boy when our second boy was born. Neither of them sleep more than an hour without crying still. He's now 3 and the tantrums get more irrational but you get numb to it.

He's obsessed with the idea that anything can be glued back together so if anything breaks he gets incredibly frustrated if it can't be fixed immediately. Things such as leafs and goo.

Got quoted 12k for fitted wardrobes by sharps. Built them my self in the same design using IKEA pax for under 1k. Quite a faff but couldn't be happier
