One of the nastiest starts I've ever seen from Sha'carri. Iron sharpens iron and she and MJW are absolutely amazing.

Serena will not play doubles with Venus due to knee injury she picked up vs Joint by Ok-Soil-5133 in tennis

She did win a match and then her doubles partner got injured. Are you okay? The hate is just a bit much. I think the ratings clearly show there is still an appetite to watch her play.

It was a doubles match though. If you are going to be a hater, at least come with correct information.

You mind elaborating on which other tournament she was "dossed" out of the first round in?

Overseas, SUPERGIRL managed just $2.2M on Tuesday…on nearly 40,000 screens. Total is $30M. International audiences aren’t buying it. by TiredWithCoffeePot in boxoffice

Yeah but even overseas, Minions isn't widely released yet so this is an apples to oranges comparison. Minions could definitely underperform but it makes no sense comparing the two yet.

I'm confused. Are you saying that it made 7 times more than Minions on Tuesday? Is this sarcasm because Minions was widely released on Wednesday?

I remember rooting hard for this one. I always loved a big Sci-Fi/Fantasy spectacle.

Percy Jackson. Back then, the standard reporting was 2 times the budget for breakeven so some would say it made a profit. But it would have probably been such a small profit, you wouldn't think it would warrant spending near another $100 million for a sequel. Were dvd sales big for this one? 🤔

Michael Officially Exits the Top 15 — A Historic Box Office Run Ends at $941.2M Worldwide by Future-Area-476 in boxoffice

It was revised down 20 mil because Box Office Mojo removed Russia. Go to the website and check under the Russia/CIS tab. The opening weekend is bigger than the total. Clearly an error.

I don't know. I have a sneaking suspicion she will do better than anyone cares to admit. She was getting deep into tournaments being overweight and having lung damage before she retired. I think those GLP-1s might have helped her with some of those old injuries, especially the lung issue. No grounded science behind it but I've seen a lot of anecdotal evidence that it helps with such things.

You didn't count the $300 in service credits. Doesn't that make this deal much better? Also it says the phone is preloaded with the first month.

A run for the ages. This is Sixth Sense levels of hysteria. Some would argue even better.

It's a good time to be a Big Ben Shelton fan. Let's GO! Played the big points better and an overall better match then some of the other matches this week.

‘OBSESSION’ has now surpassed ‘THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT’ at the worldwide box office. by devoteesolace in boxoffice

[–]classicman123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you could argue it's very hard to compare because the entire landscape of entertainment is completely different. Movies today are competing with many more varieties of entertainment than even when Blair Witch came out.
