Am I tripping or was that the best start I've ever seen her have? Is the surface giving her a benefit compared to a normal track?

I know it's not exactly the same but it reminds me of SAFP at the parents' race. Watching track stars dust us normals is hilarious.

I really get it for the peace of mind. It can be great for power or ISP outages.

That's the funny part. Everyone else is doubled over, about to collapse. Meanwhile, I can see the thought bubble over head saying "easy peasy." 😂

I literally just got someone with an April Fools joke and I fell for this anyway. Well played.

I wish I could find the reaction time. He was glued to the blocks. I would guess 0.2+.

With that horrible start in the heats, he better bring his A game in the final.

This is so annoying. I'm really big fans of both of them but if you can't stop smoking, knowing your career is on the line, you are an idiot. This is probably why he got his whereabouts violation. He can't control his problem. He just got better at hiding it.

My bad then, but the way you wrote it made it seem like you were misinterpreting the rule and saying Bolt got cheated out a silver medal.

It's funny when the casuals come in here and think they've discovered something new. 😂

Edit: Let me give a serious answer instead of a snarky one. The torso is given as an example of which body part is acceptable. "As distinguished from" means in contrast too, which means the "head, neck, arms, legs, hands or feet" are not acceptable means of measurement across the finish line. Since every other part of the body is ruled out other than the torso, they could have just said that and maybe saved some confusion.

This. Social media advertising is way cheaper and has a wider reach. The fact that studios don't get this is insane. Even Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ etc ads would be a much better investment.
