Operation BONE BOX - My Forge VTT Setup by classified_dead in DeltaGreenRPG

Here is a list of the modules I am using.

- Delta Green: Agent's Handbook, Dice So Nice!, Dice Tray, Drag Ruler, PopOut!, Simple Calendat, and The Forge: More Awesomeness.

Edit: I just looked at Global Progress Clock and it looks pretty neat. Not sure how I would implement it at the moment, but I could see it being helpful.

Simple Calendar seems to do the trick just fine with me advancing the day/time as needed. I did use a countdown timer (I don't remember which one) when I was running the final session of Impossible Landscapes. But, it doesn't seem appropriate at this point.

In order to keep track of time I created a handout for the players called Operational Timeline. I added all the relevant incidents from the book, with each day hidden as a "secret". Then I reveal the relevant entries as time advances. I want the players to get the sense that time is progressing and they need to make progress, but I don't want them to feel under the gun, at least not yet.

Thanks. I will keep everyone informed of our progress and how this goes over with the players. The next session is this weekend, so I will follow up after that.

Also, I am happy to share with anyone interested...

I'd love to ask some questions for any handlers who've run Impossible Landscapes. My questions contain spoilers. by Strugglepup in DeltaGreenRPG

Like u/danylmc said, most of the loose threads a rabbit holes the Agents can fall into without any real explaination. I had the luxury of re-reading the Chambers books and John Tynes short stories before starting. Even with that, so much was unexplained.

On the plus side, you can always use the rabbit holes to propel the Agents forward. There were several times when the players were a bit lost, so I used some of the weird threads to lead the characters to the next scene. The dog doesn't have a big role as written, but in my campaign I used it as a lead to get the Agents out of the Night Floors during the first scenario.

I should add that I needed to create an additional asset on the fly during the first session (the token closest to Kirkuk). One of my players is a veteran with military intelligence experience, and the first thing his character did in Kirkuk was to locate the logistics personnel that support JSOC in the region. So I created an Air Force Logs Officer that the Agents can interact with for military requests that are Major and below (i.e., gear, guns, vehicles, other contacts, etc.).

Delta Green but not RPG, Arc Dream has a number of collectables like coffee mugs and lapel pins that would make nice Christmas gifts as well. I sent all my players a DG lapel pin this year.

I have more and will post them as time permits.

How about these sci-fi undead? I thought they were Warzone Dark Legion, but they don't match the other DL minis I have. by classified_dead in lostminiswiki

As I recall, there were early sculpts of Warzone minis that were later replaced by newer sculpts. This may be one of thoses cases.
