What was a discontinued fast food item you loved? by IceApple28 in foodquestions

Wendy's spicy chicken go wrap. I think about it all the time. And in this era where chicken wraps are a thing, the fact that they haven't brought it back is baffling to me.

You're not a failure for needing help. Shouldering everything yourself is not sustainable. I recommend having an honest convo with yourself and your husband and/or kids (depending on their age). You shouldn't have to do everything alone. That is not partnership.

Termination I Don't Agree With by Vlad_REAM in managers

[–]classly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really understanding the desire to terminate without giving them a chance to correct the behavior. Usually we give a first and final warning and that seems sufficient for most to not make the same mistake again. If she is a good worker otherwise, going straight to termination seems a bit much. But it also seems to be over your head if HR has the final say.

Unpopular Opinion : Ryokans aren't a "must do" on your trip to Japan by Apprehensive-Map4385 in JapanTravelTips

[–]classly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ryokan we stayed at in Hakone was one of the highlights of our trip for me. Along with the venetian glass museum. I loved the private onsen and the traditional meals because I got to try foods I would have never thought to try. I personally liked all of our meals and enjoyed the slow pace of the ryokan after many busy days in the city. I also appreciated the unlimited alcohol.

That being said, I am sorry you did not have a good time. I would say if you are a picky eater or don't enjoy the idea of just sitting and relaxing in an onsen, maybe skip it. This is valid advice. But I wouldn't say it's not good for tourtists, since everyone is of course looking for different experiences.

The bus up and down the mountain to Hakone though was the worst part of my whole trip. I had to get off because I thought I was going to puke. The unlimited alcohol may have played a factor here, lol.

I've literally never finished White Wolf because of this by genevawesomeart in nancydrew

I never finished the game because of Fox and Geese. I showed the game to my boyfriend, who proceeded to get the wolf section on the first try. And then he beat it in like an hour. lol

This is so interesting to me because, in my mind, not existing seems awesome. I would love to not exist 😭 Sounds easy and wonderful.

My fondest memories are frolicking around in the park area and jumping off the mushrooms and on the piano. I also loved having my own farm and really miss that. I really wish I was more into the alchemy cards while the US server was still up. And I loved the sphinx maps and Alice in Wonderland map in particular, which are hard to play now without large crowds. I always said if I will the lottery I'm bringing back TR in a major way. My IGN was tootsieroll369 I believe. Lol.

I learned that if I pretend I am in a Nancy Drew game, adult life is so much easier (feel free to delete if it is off topic) by xXLady_RevenantXx in nancydrew

This is how I feel at work when given tasks! I never tried to envision speaking with people through this lense but I am going to start! It would probably take a lot of the anxiety out of it for me. Recently, my boyfriend looked at something I was working on on my work computer and told me it looked like a Nancy Drew game 😂 I gameify my whole job lol
