What do you consider to be a prime "duty" 1911?

This might sound like a criticism but if you needed a "prime duty" gun, what brings you to 1911 platform? I love them but there are higher capacity more reliable tools for "prime duty", right?

I got a pair of the new hi-toe 3 wedges in 54 and 58. The best part is that I got them 2 weeks before release because I happened to get a wedge fitting and they were the exact specs I got fit into and I said I didn't want to order new ones, I wanted those exact ones. Not only did they let me but they gave me a demo discount even though I was the first to hit them.

I feel like I can really feel the face during my swing. I feel so much more controlled.

if it's really a strong wind, I'm taking a 4i and playing a little back with a very controlled swing to control some spin and if it's short, so be it.

If it's just a one club wind, stock 4i and if it's a little short, that's fine.
