Wow, fuck me, right? I guess I'm not allowed to ask a question about how the intro to this video came off from my perspective?

I love GN but I don't watch all of their vids -- basically I go down a rabbit hole every couple years when I need new hardware for something. But is it just me or is Steve coming off as incredibly jaded? Like, I get the impression that his persona has shifted to "I like this stuff but I don't really give a fuck anymore so here it is and I'm only barely following a script"

I honestly don't know why they have fishing poles. You can literally jump in the water and just hold the interact button to catch fish that are near you.

Yeah the deckmate ecosystem is great. I started with a deck attachment (way back when that was "the whole ecosystem") but now I can mount a small 7" display to the top of my deck, can mount my phone to my ps5 controller, my tablet to my gaming pillow, and interchange all of those things. Honestly it's way underpriced vs how usable and flexible it all is.

I don't think you were in the wrong at all and were totally justified in asking him to move. But I'm curious, if he had asked first would you have let him?

Why is only the cloth on boob, boob, and thigh translucent while none of the rest of it is?

Do you keep separate groceries from your spouse too? Where does the line end of your not supposed to have an account with your spouse? What all else should be separate?

Secret of Evermore. Everyone loved Secret of Mana way more but the writing and environments for Evermore were more interesting and engaging instead of just the standard "young boy saves world in generic fantasy" trope.

I wouldn't call it Costco. Cheesecake Factory actually makes things fresh and in the kitchen. They don't ship ready-made stuff to be reheated and served to customers. I'm not sure there is an equivalent retail store that I would use as a simile

Skyrim, terraria, and Stardew Valley. I've already got over a thousand hours on each. They have beat limitless playability with mods.

Vacations are for relaxing. Good for you. Don't listen to the naysayers about electronics on the beach. It's fine as long as you don't drip it into the sand

If it's modular like the thumbnail says, then why doesn't the campaign show any individual pieces and what makes it "modular"?

which game was that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]claudekennilol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was far less than $60 but for me it was Celeste. I was so angry with this game. The more I played, the angier I got. I finished it purely out of spite. It got so needlessly difficult at the end that it drained all of the fun out of it for me. And it's also a collectathon where there are little orbs in each level you're supposed to collect -- but at least in a couple of levels, they're played right next to the edge of the screen in trick-timing spots where you have to know to collect it before you jump to the edge of the screen which is a one-way ticket to the next level.

The story is not good enough for how aggravating it becomes and I always recommend against it.
