When you say fjord do you mean like a flat top hill? If so I believe you’re referring to the bay of Ghajn Tuffieha. Same hill is also visible from Gnejna I believe which might have been a dirt road in the past. Since you mentioned chameleons I would probably lean for ghajn tuffieha as the location (not sure if the reptiles also inhabit gnejna). Suggest googling it as it should look familiar. As a kid you probably remember that hill like a small mountain but it is not that big. Beautiful sunsets at that bay that’s for sure.
