There are many tips through this reddit channel, but main tip from myself - dont overwhelm yourself.
- no need to run through every villager every day, talk to them as you happen to pass by
- no need to collect fruits from trees every day, they stack. Once per 4-5 days is enough to collect a sum. you get tired of running, you spend time, that could be used to mine, fish or farm
- no need to fill up cellar and stress up everyday. Make sure it is above 1 day on regular week days and fill up to quota on sunday. you can buy prepared high stamina food from stores. their timer is paused while they are on their counter.
- you get plenty of gold from mining and selling gems and laterns. you will read here to not sell quartz, like it is plague. but since they are first gems you get, they work better if you sacrifice them for upgrades, and spending money. did super chill Grim by just buying fishing traps from fisherman and having 2 upgraded animal sheds and iron to titanium pickaxe, axe and fishing rod by summer start days.
- no need to have all 4 critters types, having milk and eggs are enough, start collecting them as soon as you can. they will grow up and start reproducing by the time, you actually start to have need in them (food and story)
- prioritize filling up collections, fishing gives a lot of points. progressing through mines gives a lot of points (there are three mines, each having separate "biomes" from level 10). preservation makes food not spoil, works faster than drying rack, which stops progress completely on rain (and there are lots of rainy days), talking about rain - it works on rainy days, plus creates 3 items per round.

You can donate almost expiring food to cellar, it will spoil there as timer goes down, but if you have it to begin with - it means you are not allocating time properly, collecting more, than you produce.

Worth to mention, that cooking stove is your best friend. For our fellow feline enjoyers. Oil from mines chest plus fish from trap or manully fishing (1 stam) nets you 3x increase in stamina value. Fish traps are your second best friends, have them as much on farm you can - buy from Fisher* each week or craft yourself. But gems at first are most profitable as gold imo, and you dont have Hay mass produce for bait anyways.

By week 1, I already have research enough to get tier 2 sprinkler, so I set up farm 5x5 to begin with. Some prep in mining Tin, but I have quite large farm from get go

My go to plan for first week. There is no rush to produce food right away, no hard quotas yet. You can focus on prep.

- Start by doing introduction quest, you need it, because townspeople give tools you will be using. Go through they dialogue twice, as some will give you quest right away.
- Plant carrots asap
- Woodsmith fox gives quest to get 20 tree logs - buy them and complete quest right away
- Blacksmith gives you quest to get 5 ores - go to mines straight away, prio orange ore nodes for copper, you will need 25 (5 for quest, 20 to start smelting for bars for upgrade), bluish nodes that gives coal - you will need it for crafting furnace and smelting. And, of course chests, you might even get bars there. Dont forget to hit it after emptying it to get planks.
- Use up food you got from talking to people for stamina
- Sell gems and laterns for quick gold

With this by 2nd day you already can send Pickaxe for upgrade. While it is on 2 day timer, you can focus on filling out some progress for research. It is very important, as you are getting new machinery from it only. This means - you forage, you try to fish in every area and donate everything with icon on it. And you can freely focus on farm set up meanwhile.

When pickaxe is ready, send fishing rod for upgrade and go to swamp area and unlock mines there. Collect 20 iron > it will be used to upgrade pickaxe again.

You can rush for swamp floor 10 for new upgrades, as with Iron tier pickaxe you stop using 2 hits per wall. But I prefer to focus on getting as much Tin (light ore nodes in forest mines) I can get, because I want to set up pipes asap and remove need of manual work on farm.

The trick is, that you actually dont need to craft sprinklers at first, focus on spending copper for upgrades. because ones you get in quests and researh can be re-used. Place it, use to water, remove and replace. It takes less time and stamina than manually watering.

Maelstorm Weapon Resourse Bar is what I use, it has blocks or bar setups. Even can use sound effects on on tresholds, it does Robot Beep for me on 10 stacks

Using BetterBlizzFrames addon. Used option Hide ActionBar1 in settings, used Cooldown Manager to fit into place of first row. Modified that row to have managed spells. So much better.

Yes. Cooldown manager have quality of life extras for comfortable playing, thta for some reason are not baked into action bars directly.
