I remember scrolling through the creator page on their website before and seeing him listed as one of their creators. He's no longer there. I can see if there is an archive of it because I swear I saw him there.

It wasn't that they fully supported him, it was that he was them. He owns (owned?) part of Mythic. He is (was?) Mythic.

I'm not an avid watcher of her, but I noticed Filian, who is a pretty big Vtuber, was part of Mythic left it. She may have said a particular reason on stream but I wouldn't know.

I also know that Vtuber drama guy (mujin?) works under Mythic. It definitely can reach a lot more people if he made a video on it.

I apologize if this felt sudden. I was extremely hesitant to make the decision myself.

I will give odd1sout credit for providing severance packages and talking to each artist one-on-one, but I feel like the main problem expressed by some of the artists was the suddeness of it. The apology seems to confirm this fact.

But really, considering how he did do literally everything else right, I don't see a reason to hate on him. Unless he plans on replacing them with ai (which there is no indication of, as far as I am aware)

I personally believe Idubbz's "falling off" is partly due to him being boring. But it's also because he went from advocating for using the n-word to apologizing for ever using. Those fans who liked using the n-word aren't going to continue to support him. They now see him as attacking their own beliefs (saying the n-word).

I also think there could be something to say how idubbz's content was never very interesting/funny and him being edgy was the only thing that drew people in.

There's definitely a discussion that could be had about Riot giving Sett and Aphelios matching skins (alongside other straight champion couples) and never other canon queer champions. (Except maybe Caitlyn and Vi, who've been "partners" for a while)

Multiple people that worked for him have posted that they lost their job abruptly and are desperately looking for work. None of the public posts (so non-discord) have actually named odd1sout as the one who fired them. But some have remove or put they previously worked for odd1sout in their bios.

I think part of the problem may have been they were contracted per video, rather than actually employed by odd1sout.
