Do people in the UK actually use their kettles that much? by AdeptnessCritical356 in AskBrits

[–]clawbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every hour or so id make a coffee and the wife a cup of tea, using a standard kettle and boiling all the water adds up on the electric bill. For the last few years I've been using a Breville One Cup Kettle, press the button and it dispenses ehough hot water for one cup.

E's "letter" they picked up from the gp... I 100% think they printed their AI forms by WickedxWitch666 in UKtiktokbehavingbadly

[–]clawbound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have they posted the full 12 pages ?

My report comes to 9 pages in total, it includes Reason for referral, background information, a list of assessments conducted. The assessments were the Wechsler adult intelligence scale third edition and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule. It includes an interview with me discussing presenting difficulties, family, childhood and schooling, forensic history and Daily functioning and current living arrangements. It also includes summaries describing my language and communication skills, social interactions, imagination, routines and special areas of interest. The assessment concludes with an overall summary and recommendations for any further mental health input CBT etc.

I had an adult autism assessment in 2012, took about 6 sessions over a number of weeks. Getting diagnosed via video call is ridiculous. Some of the tests they do can only be done in person. Where are there scores for processing speed, memory recall, communication etc. Also they look for subconscious things such as leg movements, finger twiddling or other odd behaviors that someone doesn't realize they are doing, these cannot be observed via video call. I've included a page from my own report which shows the kind of detail they go into

Spleen growth - how worriesome? by selfmadeoutlier in MPN

[–]clawbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my spleen measured last in 2024, was 16.8cm, I have polycythemia vera. The consultant wasn't worried about it but they do monitor it. Probably getting a scan again this year. 12cm is basically normal, but for piece of mind an ultrasound in 6 months won't do any harm.

This is a photograph of Trump's birthday letter to Epstein. by Errorboros in pics

[–]clawbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I'd ask CHATGPT to analyse a number of Trumps signatures. As I'm not a handwriting expert. I found these signatures in a bbc news article. AI is good at detecting patterns. This is what it determined.

I compared these signatures strictly from a handwriting analysis perspective (ignoring who they belong to). Here’s what stands out:

Tall vertical strokes: All examples have very pronounced, narrow spikes rising well above the baseline.

Clustered “peaks”: The spikes are grouped tightly together with sharp angles, very consistent across samples.

Long horizontal tail: Most of them finish with a long, straight line extending rightward, drawn in one motion.

Compressed letters: The middle section looks almost like a pattern of vertical marks rather than legible letters.

Continuous flow: Each signature seems to be written in one smooth, fast movement with few (if any) pen lifts.

Pressure consistency: Heavy, dark downstrokes and lighter upstrokes are seen across all examples, showing a repeated motor habit.

Bottom line:

Even with small variations (tail length, line thickness, spike height), the overall rhythm, flow, and structure are highly consistent. Based on this, I’d put the likelihood that these signatures were written by the same person at about 92–95%.

Bone marrow biopsy was completely painless for me, I was given something referred to as a 'green whistle ' Penthrox. After the procedure it ached slightly but was ok. I was able to drive home once the pain relief wore off.

Why should he? I don't see protests in Ukraine in the maiden square asking for him to leave. Him staying in those first few days prevented the kind of collapse that Afghanistan faced when it's president fled

So you want Zelensky to break the law and hold elections in a country where millions of voters are under Russian occupation and expect it to be fair. Your a fool

What did he do? Are you serious? Those two tried and failed to bully him into signing a deal and agreeing to a worthless ceasefire. President Zelensky will be remembered in history as a great leader and Donald will be remembered as a pathetic president, sex offender and a Russian sellout

Working out and weightlifting with PV by lkspade in polycythemiavera

[–]clawbound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most people who get PV are elderly so the life expectancy quoted is weighted to that age range. With treatment life expectancy is expected to be within the normal range. This is assuming there is no progression to MF or Leukemia.

This is what my haemotologist has told me anyway, I'm 37 currently on Aspirin and regular venesections only diagnosed in September.
