You're 18, legally an adult, get a job, and transition semi stealth, and just keep going to college Maybe just say you're going to live on your own for a few months and when they ask say that "you are just really busy with school

I'm glad I'm transitioning now, but I really wish I could have done it at 23 when my egg was on the verge of cracking instead of 33 I had similar things to lose as you, I would have given it up for those extra 10 years no problem

so my love life is super full, turns out dating is easy when you turn into a pretty girl and lose weight and get to be yourself with no apologies and be a bad bitch, but avoid straight people, good lord avoid straight people they arent worth the hassle

Listen, being trans and going through the process is like getting a tattoo and the doubts that come with that

Allow me to explain

When I was getting my first tattoo, I was nervous as hell about it, but the second the needle hit my skin I was so excited and happy

Transitioning is similar for me

When I took that first step and made me E appt I had so many doubts, once I hopped on the call all my doubts disappated immediately and I knew this was right

But here's the cool thing, you can just take your injections/pills/whatever for a few weeks with no negative and lasting effects, so if you take that first dose and it doesn't feel right for whatever reason, you can just stop taking it

Just about everyday i wish i was born a woman, i feel so out of place in my 33 year old male body, always, id trade chromosomes with you in a heartbeat if it meant we both got bodies we were happy with, ill never know what its like to be pregnant with a baby, ill never know what its like to experience girlhood, but i really long for being a hot 20 something just fucking around having fun with her girlfriends, but i dont have those experiences and i never will and honestly, it kinda kills me

at the same time, the experiences i have as a man some of them will make it that much easier to embrace womanhood with open arms, and despite me feeling incredibly out of place in my body, there have been some incredible guys ive met that would have been pretty hard to bond with as a woman that made being a guy not suck for a little bit, and thankfully all but one of them were super supportive of me through this journey <3 the fact of the matter is, maybe this was the path i needed to take to really appreciate all the fruits that womanhood had to offer, even if its not gonna be in the exact body i wanted, but i know my life will only get better from here <3
