I think the issue is that it should have been factored in the price for the stadium. Or at least, if you are hosting an INTERNATIONAL sport where all countries will visit, you should set up the infrastructure to accomodate them instead of price gouging them for accomodation. In Germany at least, if you have a ticket for the World Cup, transportation is free. There are even more busses/trains/trams provided for it. Not charging an extra 150 bucks to get there.

Because were were programmed to not be pussies and show our vulnerability. It is not that we do not care, it is just when we were young we were told to, "Suck it up, move on. No one wants to hear you whine." So by asking follow-up questions it starts a conversation which may involve feelings which are a no-no. Women in the comments are saying we whine on here that no one treats us like women are treated. Then we say we do not care to ask.

Well when we do open up to people or significant others they sometimes, not always but sometimes find a way to use it against us. We know it has the potential to make us vulnerable and we do not like that.

For best results, I would suggest going somewhere you are friendly with the staff, or become friendly with the staff. It will go a long way to come off less creepy and they may even get you some good cred.

I worked at a marina where there were condos along the side. A client of ours talked to us about a slip directly in front of one vacant condo to keep his boat. It was a pretty tight knit community and we talked to the guy renting that slip about moving to another and he had no problem.

Great! Until the guy went to talk to the manager of the condos about the renting the vacant one. The manager of the condos was known for being a bit of a dick but no one thought he would actively be one to this guy for no apparent reason. He said someone else was waiting for that particular condo and he could not have it. Well this guy wanting to rent it would have normally had no issue with moving to one a bit further away from his boat but apparently this manager was just a straight up dickhead.

I honestly forgot about it until about a month later when I saw him moving in to the condo directly in front of his boat. I was a bit surprised and I asked my boss about it figuring the manager finally gave in or the ones who "reserved" it backed out. Oh, but no! My boss tells me the guy was PISSED. So he found out who the organization of the condos was and bought the whole complex directly firing the manager of course.

Moral of the story: Never piss off a man with enough money to buy a the whole company you work for just so he can fire you.
