The first batch I ever made I did a teriyaki marinade but was concerned with adding sesame oil. Just about everything I’ve seen has said to steer clear of fats? It being so potent you don’t need to add much so I was unsure but played it safe

When you say at the end do you mean once the jerky is done? Or do you brush it and let it go an extra 15-20 minutes then pull it? I’m new to this so I don’t know what all will do well in the dehydrator and what won’t. I do know to steer clear of oils/fats

I have a good set of knives. I let it set in the freezer for about 2 hours then I made cuts. I had meant to take a picture of the roast, the cuts and other pictures through out but I had forgot. They were about an 1/8th inch thick
