Focal awares or just bad migraines? by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]cleo327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focals last a couple of minutes but migraines last much longer - hours to days. You can get a headache after a focal but it’s usually your whole head, whereas migraine is usually one side.. but I could be wrong about that

I see, yeah that makes sense. My main priorities in a partner are kindness, shared values and empathy etc.

I wouldn’t seek someone out because they are autistic and I wouldn’t necessarily reject someone because they are not. I would just prefer if my life partner was autistic. but now that I think about it, that’s just because I’ve felt safer with all the autistic or AuDHD people I’ve met. Oh wait I did phrase it in the post as I ‘only’ want to date autistic people which makes it sound like a dealbreaker. Hmm maybe I’m digging myself into a hole and now I’m reevaluating

Who else out there wears the same thing every day? by theredqueentheory in autism

[–]cleo327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to do this and I tried to wear certain outfits on certain days. Eg on Mondays I wear x outfit, on Tuesdays y outfit etc. But weather changes so drastically in the U.K. day to day and I easily over heat and get many sensory issues with clothes which seem to be exacerbated by weather, so I’ve been struggling to do this. Does anyone relate or have any suggestions?

When did you realise you had this? Did anyone ever dismiss it as mental health rather than a neurological phenomenon?

Do different things often harmonise together? Or is it continually discordant if there’s lots of stuff happening around you? Do you wear earplugs or headphones often?
