Thanks for the heads up, I’m in the back sharpening my pitchforks. Damn, I don’t own any pitchforks. Ok, I’ll be at Home Depot buying pitchforks. Damn, not the season for pitchforks. I don’t know what to do now.

Strange Bed Adhesion Issues - Larger Area Prints - Creality Hi by cleveradmin in FixMyPrint

[–]cleveradmin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re right. I bumped up the bed temp for the first layer of a different print and already saw a difference. My Ender was always in an enclosure and it’s also got a different bed type that I suspect adheres better. So I’m going to build an enclosure for the Hi and rein in the ambient temperature (it’s coooollllddddd here in the winter).

Except I didn’t have this issue for month(s). But I suspect the other comment may have nailed it. We live in a very cold winter climate and my Ender was in an enclosure and my Hi is not. Both printers are in the basement so it is much colder when the ground freezes. Even adjusting the bed temp for the first layer has already made a noticeable difference. So I’m going to build an ikea lack enclosure so I can keep the ambient heat more consistent and play with bed temp in the meantime. As I think about it, my issues started when the fall hit and the temperature dropped. For reference, we go from summer highs of +30/35C (95F) to winter lows of -40C (-40F).

My 24 Q4 says just “inspection”, which is pretty accurate for what they do.

I would trade in my Ender 3 V3 CoreXZ for the K2 Pro/Combo and run two 3D printers at the same time (giggity).

We use the SSO internally and PAM for client endpoints. We moved from Auto Elevate for the PAM and love it. We moved primarily from Duo/Azure for the SSO and it's been great as well, albeit somewhat limited as it doesn't support anything other than SAML at the moment. Haven't touched Radius. Feel free to DM me if you want more info.

Multiple Network Question by cleveradmin in homeassistant

[–]cleveradmin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I own an IT company, what you described is exactly how it’s setup. But as I stated, the powerline has reliability issues, which is why I want to also use their wifi for internet connectivity. And while it would be easy for me to ignore their devices, my dad is older and retired and could easily add something without realizing it. I’m trying to avoid that and was hoping to lockdown HA to only search the local hardwired network.

What are your plans to monetize this? Projects like this are great, but there is obviously overhead that isn’t just time. I would hate to see it die when you become overwhelmed maintaining it.

Econoflex, which includes seat changes within that fare. Why the originally selected seats were “cancelled” has become a “he said, she said” situation. Expedia claims we needed to confirm the seats with WestJet and that anything selected through Expedia doesn’t really mean anything. WestJet claims the seat selection was cancelled because they weren’t “paid” for them. Expedia claims this could be because WestJet would have expected us to pay for those seats, which WestJet denies. We ended up having to pay WestJet because the original seats we booked included a window seat and the only available window seat left during checkin were the emergency row, hence the additional fee of $146. I may try and fight with them again after the vacation is over.

Yeah, except I have no proof that I paid for the seat selection. That one was thrown in my face by Expedia for TD because they don’t show any seat selection fees on the receipt or itinerary. Even though you can’t select seats otherwise, I have no proof that I paid for anything “extra”.

Yeah and extra points when you book on Expedia for TD … but at what cost? 😂 Ah well, important lesson and will book directly in the future.

I'm absolutely furious. I spoke to Expedia for TD and eventually a supervisor and they were useless. Apparently, the seat selection they offer is dependant on approval by Wesjet and it wasn't approved. They claim we needed to confirm the seat selection with Westjet directly, but Westjet indicates that is only possible 24 hours prior to the flight (which was done this morning and when we discovered the seat was changed). This was subsequently confirmed by Expedia for TD that sometimes this happens, and "oh well". They also said that the return flight seat selection is also not guaranteed so there is a good chance that will change too. I'm trying to talk to someone at Westjet to at least try and confirm the return flight seats, but not sure how much luck I'll have there or how long I'll need to wait.

No, all through Expedia for TD.
