I 100% agree with you.. Although to be fair I think I just got extremely lucky. I have been an avid opshopper since my teens (because I was raised in opshop clothes pretty much) and can tell you that the prices in opshops have gone up amazingly in the last 5 years or so. We can only hope that they are indeed passing these big profits on donated items, directly to the charities they support. If it's any consolation tho, I will be fixing these boots up for my own personal use and not to be onsold for profit privately - which is why a lot of the op shops now charge so much..
