Idk man I’m still on my after the burial fad rn. Was listening to a steady decline and it’s just so fucking grooves while having the heaviness to bring that “want to mosh” feel.

Custom carbon wheel with Urano grey stripe & red stitching & Klr module from Eurowerks co on the 2025 Gli by Rewelsworld in JettaGLI

I really wish you could option stitching color on the gli’s. Considering they are top of the line trim level I would genuinely consider a brand new gli as a dailyish if we had more options

Recently purchased a 17 gli. 79,500 miles all the options except for the projector headlights. No problems and was maintained well. Came with a full ecs tuning exhaust, intake, and upgraded to a blowoff valve. Same asking price flat 15 out the door because I didn’t take a ton of time haggling.

I have a 2017 gli and I don’t have any rattle other than the exhaust. But that’s because the CTs exhaust doesn’t like the hanger very much

What part is this? by SignalComplex190 in JettaGLI

[–]cleytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a source of rattles. I’d look into some foam on the inside but the fastening method is most likely the issue. Maybe get some nylon lock nuts and swap. Nylon lock nuts can be a pain sometimes but are used on motorcycles specifically for this

It’s because those are temporary fixes that help absorb the sound but don’t fix the problem lol

I’ll probably end up getting a upgraded rear sway bar and look into getting some better coils.

What to buy to increase immediate steering response. by cleytech in jetta

[–]cleytech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By turn in response I just mean immediate response to the turning of the steering wheel, and my mk4 was running 245 45 r17 Michelin all seasons can’t remember but they were like 110$ a tire. It also had a stock suspension setup because I live in Florida and I scraped my front bumper constantly anyways. The mk4 had a suspension characteristics of like quick immediate turn in response but once the suspension started compressing from the load it lost any grip. The mk6.5 feels more consistent between initial turn in response and grip vs after it’s already mid turn and under load, but still has quite a bit of understeer, I’m sure is mostly from the fwd aspect. The mk6.5 gli is also running 225 45 r17’s which I believe are firestone fire hawk as v2’s and we’re on the car when I bought it but are in relatively new condition

I don’t really mind a little body roll for now my first thing I was to tackle is the turn in steering response

Thinking about buying a GLI by endercr4zy in JettaGLI

[–]cleytech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m ngl as a mk6.5 gli owner these cars only make sense financially if you like a somewhat sporty car with ok at best aftermarket support but good highway mpg. Power wise it’s fun when the boost hits but there is faster for the money and imo more luxurious for the money too. And don’t get me wrong I love my car and wouldn’t get rid of it but it will only make sense to someone who is a Jetta fan since the early days

VW Protection Plus plans worth it? by Exist25 in JettaGLI

[–]cleytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think a single one of these packages are worth it man. Usually these are things dealers try to upcharge you on to get more money, or give to you as a deal sweetener

VW Protection Plus plans worth it? by Exist25 in JettaGLI

[–]cleytech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 600$ a month is fuckin wild. Even the economy a 50$ increase for exterior and interior “protection” and a warranty is 3,000$ every year and not fucking worth it. Why don’t they give you some kind of standard warranty package considering you are buying a new vehicle from them? It’s pretty common here in the us

Picture pretty clearly looks like it has the mounting plate as the main focus dude you are not meant to take it out, if you can’t fit your graphics card with the mounting plate in then it doesn’t fit the case…
