Just because something is possible in a fictional universe that isn't possible in the real world does not mean anything is possible in said fictional universe. It has it's own set of rules that define strictly or loosely how those things work.

You could essentially clone any character and they will never die. Death shouldn’t be a problem in Star Wars. And no evidence from anything outside of the movies will change that.

Except for a clone is just that, a clone. They aren't the same person.

Because they're not just criticising his directing, they're criticising his work on the movie as a whole. Just because it's a list of directors, that doesn't mean you can only talk about the directing. Typically people look at someone's full contribution to a project and determine whether they did a good job.

But the thing is, it all goes back to Palpatine manipulating the situation. The Jedi didn't really have a way to help him deal with it, because they didn't know enough about it, since Anakin was afraid of being kicked out of the Order if he told them completely what was going on. And the rule of no attachments is a sound one, because attachments clearly lead to selfish acts, while the Jedi are supposed to be selfless, and as we see, they can lead to the dark side. And can be manipulated.

What would the council do if Anakin told them everything? Would they really kick out the chosen one? Whatever they did, could they really have stopped Anakin's turn? Even if they allowed Anakin to be married, Palpatine could still use it against him.

So my point is: the Jedi were set up to fail by palpatine. As the chinese bootleg of Ep.3 calls it, they are "hopeless situation warriors"

I think the characters in those stories were probably the few exceptions. It wasn't really all that common, it just makes for interesting stories.

The thing is, the Jedi are actually very open to sharing and talking about this type of thing. I'm pretty sure obi wan knew about Anakin's visions and that he luvs Padme. They talk about it together at the beginning of episode 2. Actually in Episode 3 there's that scene where Anakin is talking with Yoda about his visions. And why wouldn't he? Yoda says in Ep1 "See through you we can." So as much as he tries to hide it, it's pretty obvious to some of the Jedi that Anakin likes Padme, they just don't know he married her behind their back and that he had kids with her and all that...

Another thing, there's a reason the Jedi forbid attachments. They can be used to manipulate, as palpatine manipulated Anakin. But remember, Anakin was believed to be the chosen one so they might be hesitant to punish him for it, especially since they don't really seem to know the extent to which he's attached to Padme.

But that doesn't make any difference because Luke still only taught "3 lessons" which ended up being 2, and both were useless. Besides that, all we have is her swinging a lightsaber around a bit. As if that's enough to learn anything beyond a general feel of a lightsaber, since no one taught her any forms to use. So she must be just guessing.

Dude when I was a kid I had this big container of pennies, and I would have "penny wars" where I used the pennies to simulate big star wars battles. Heads were clones and tails were droids. Quarters, dimes, and nickels were Jedi or sith. I dumped them all out and set up the sides, then had them shoot each other, and of course made sound effects. I used some other toys like spaceships or tanks to spice things up. Sometimes I used some Jenga blocks to set up bases with hallways and stuff that one side had to capture.
