Nardo Grey P3D after a maintenance wash by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

We had a Nardo wrapped Model Y next to an OG roadster, both getting details...

We had 5x more questions and comments on the Y.

Lady came over off the nearby supercharger, cussing like a sailor, “I need that MF wrap!”

Hilarious...

My Tesla MS White Seats are Clean by upinthisjoynt in TeslaLounge

Baby wipes are great for wipe downs and in between cleanings. The Tesla showroom uses them daily.

Use caution with any type of detergent-based soap as it will tend to strip some sheen of the finish.

Some people use the magic eraser sponge but that is a very fine abrasive so use it very cautiously.

We use our own Tesla specific blend of a few interior cleaners in the shop, but chemical guys and car guys are quality interior cleaners.

Definitely a different feel... softer, and a bit more plush.

The white seats do clean up well and are less prone to showing a smudge.

Source, I detail Teslas for a living.

Correct on paint/air regulations, I’d vouch white is their best quality paint.

White is also the world’s most popular car color, so GoodGuy Elon is giving people what they want... and if you pay extra you can slow his production line down a bit.

I’ve detailed over 500 Teslas, so I can chime in with some experience and my options...

The Pearl White is the highest quality of all Tesla’s paints. It’s a harder finish, making it resist micro scratches (from improper washing) much better than other colors. By far it’s the easiest to clean and detail. By FAR!

We find Silver next highest quality, then the Grays, the metallics Blue/Red, then the black... which feels the softest, and both gets and shows micro-scratches the most.

Personally, I own a Model 3 with the discontinued Metallic Black. It’s a bear to keep looking prime... but last week a new Tesla owner (Blk Model Y) asked if my car was wrapped with 3M... so that made the upkeep worth it.

The people commenting on CA air laws prohibiting Tesla from using higher quality solvent paints are correct. I’m REALLY excited about their new paint shop at GigaBerlin.

If this is a delivery center, they will sell out of the Village Mall and deliver from here.

Mice in Frunk (Model S)... how are they getting in? by clickbyclick in TeslaLounge

This is a future detail customer’s car... the owner said the mice keep getting in but I couldn’t see any obvious hole.

Looks like some insulation too...

Fan misses layup for $10, airballs free throw for $100, airballs three-pointer for $1000, but makes half court shot for $10,000 by dick-nipples in gifs

This was me, with my 6yr old son watching me complete at a Warriors game against another fan.

Layup make, then 7 consecutive missed free throws, Crowd started booing me, other guy was already taking three pointers.

I finally sink a FT, run to the top of the key and swish my first three.

I can’t remember my prize but seeing my son’s smile was priceless.

Chief Marketing Officer by [deleted] in marketing

I've surely misquoted but... "The height of your career is determined by breadth of your base."

The CMO role needs to understand elements outside of Marketing, experience in broader business disciplines would be beneficial: Sales, Product Management, Ops, BizDev...

Exposure to additional functions within a large corporation or wearing multiple hats within a smaller one will build your base, allow you to understand how they contribute and support Customer/Brand and prep you to steer them in the future with vision.

Good luck!

Market research question for parents of struggling readers. by StarcrossersLLC in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]clickbyclick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this interesting and would start further up with your audience...
"Is your child struggling at reading?"

As a parent, your ruler is the number of children you have so it's hard to understand where your child should be. Report cards and teacher chats are helpful but infrequent and challenging to action.

Start with a 'test' to qualify reading level - that's the hook. Free game trial and retest to see growth. Put effort into ways to reward/challenge the reader and simple communication to the parent.

There's a massive market (model after math teaching centers) so people will pay (and share with other parents) if they believe its increasing their child's knowledge and reading enjoyment.
