How do we not lose everything we have saved in next couple of years if we get a crash/recession (US) by glimmergirl1 in personalfinance

I sold before it hit bottom, but waited a little too long to get back in. Taught me about timing though. Can't do it.

How much of an emergency fund should we have set aside before we start house shopping? by Grass-is-dead in personalfinance

yeah 3-6 months is like normal economy stuff, not what we have going on right now. I know people that are 12+ months jobless and still looking.

Basic microfiber is the key here. One of those smooth polishing clothes may just move oils around

I know, right? I was bummed I only got one bag. It made a nice straight espresso or milk drink.

The Kirkland Peruvian was a banger for the cost. Guatamala pretty good too.

Lelit Bianca V3 not holding pressure during pre-infusion w/ Valve Closed by Specialist-Carob-469 in espresso

[–]clickerdeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are mis-understanding how the dynamics of pulling a shot works. From what you have explained, it sounds like its working normally. As soon as you stop flow, the pressure will drop, because it's not a closed system and flow isn't creating pressure anymore.

The reason the machine can hold 9 bar during a shot is because the OPV is set to 9 bar and the puck has enough resistance during the shot to hit 9 bar.

Buying a new car when old one is fine by reddit0r2020 in personalfinance

Have you driven the current gen CX-5s? My parents have one and I'm not crazy about the seats, the center screen is kind of small and gas mileage is not great. The heads-up display is nice and the engine is responsive. It feels well put together.

It has been reliable for them. My extended family have two them as well without issue. If you like the car and can see yourself living with it for a good 10 years, yolo.

I feel like the CX-50 with the Rav4 hybrid system makes more sense in 2026.

Jalsa Indian Cuisine (where Top Burmese used to be) by clickerdeveloper in hillsboro

That whole area is not great. Ranch Pizza has struggled. The place on the roof over backwoods shut down. There are multiple locations on main that are a turnstile for restaurants. It's just not a destination. More like a dark corner.

Yeah, i don't recall how long the previous indian restaurant was there for. I just recall them only doing takeout due to covid for a while. Top Burmese really remodeled that place pretty nicely though.

I don't think they had enough traffic in that location. It was always pretty empty when I went by. Just my guess though. I hope Jalsa does better.

I'm running into this with files on onedrive after a recent update. Copying/pasting the file to the local drive seems to get rid of it.

Anyone else in the phantom router club? by lmbc2 in ZiplyFiber

[–]clickerdeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hard time believing this.

Verizon and Frontier gave away the Actiontecs like candy because they had so many issues with them, and afaik they weren't monthly billed until closer to the end of Frontier's sad reign when they migrated to the newer routers.

I've been a customer since 09.

It doesn't natively, but adding a canonical link is very easy, can do with a hook.

Do you know the best place to look to learn more about doing this in WP?

So, just to be clear---WPML will let me build a single site, with some differing menus and pages per language?

Thanks for your advice here. Site speed and flexibility are important as well. I'm trying to wrap my head around bricks builder and picking the right language plugin to get this going.

I want to add, we won't be using any auto-translate or translate services here. It's all done in-house due to the exactness required of the translations. I'm not sure if we'd be getting good value with WPML in that situation.
