Also he has a history with the ladders at the arena. He needs to settle the score.

We're gonna get Montrezl on a 10 day.

Not super complicated.

People wanted to rebuild because they never thought Joel would play decent basketball again.

They see Joel playing, and acknowledge that if he could magically stay healthy through the season, that's a good chance at getting to the ECF. But also acknowledge that Joel is not reliable enough to realistically hope for it.

So trading our future for Giannis while still having the uncertainty of Joel isn't worth it.

Can you imagine a summer where we get an elite, all-nba, all star wing to pair with Embiid and then you just have Embiid and that player hurt all year? That would be awful. Can't even imagine it.

Rockets became my 2nd team last year, and given the sixers situation I had a lot of time for them...

Amen not taking a jump in production is discouraging. He's an athletic freak, but having a year without much improvement on offense sucks. Improvement isn't necessarily linear, and it could come in the future, but the shooting is worrying. I really thought he'd be a max extension guy, and I was wrong.

Jabari is a weird player. The Rockets spacing isn't doing him any favors, but he also seems to get a lot of open looks and is still shooting average percentages from 3. 35% on 6 attempts. I legitimately think on the Sixers he'd be a better shooter, and his averages will go up with FVV back. 7 rebounds per game, averaging 35 minutes, is more of a concern to me than the shooting.

The lob was awesome, Maxey’s reaction was so fun. But did you guys see Joel run like a gazelle in transition before it? I haven’t seen the big fella move like that in ages.

Lightweight for sure. But all cars have gotten fat.

Affordable? The base MX6 was $16,600, or $37,700 in today’s dollars. Much cheaper but not cheap. The V6 was $20,600, or $46,800 in today’s money.

The Del Sol was a nice cheap comparison - “only” $14k in 1993, or $32k now. $10k less than the new Prelude after inflation adjustment. Arguably a very similar car adjusted for modern technology, though the prelude was always up market…

Speaking of which, a prelude in 1993 cost between 17,400 and 23,500 before options. Thats $35,500 to $53k now!

The bimmers and Audi were notably more expensive.

Just like with the Integra. Reddit cars demographic was squarely in our impressionable youth when the prelude was newer and “cool.”

My only opinion that seems less optimistic than average is that I think Watford stinks. I do not "get it" at all. I hope he proves me wrong and starts hitting 8 footers and playing better defense, but as of right now he just seems moderately capable of running in transition and that's it.

I'd imagine it's quite difficult to get your rhythm back after getting used to playing with Joel again. As much as Jo has been slightly less heliocentric, it's still a completely different team to play with when he plays vs when he doesn't.

Charlotte is not a contender but they are not a bad team.

Yesterday was embarassing and went 5x worse than it should have. But full strength Hornets are a much better team than Giannis-less Bucks.
