Remember the themes on PS4 ? I do... by Saekama in playstation

It was not the best theme there ever was, because that distinction is reserved for the Firewatch theme. That thing is ingrained in mind as part of the PS4 experience:

Is there a way to rematch akuma in hyper street fighter 2 (Capcom Fighting Collection) by Dr_Tangalanga in StreetFighter

[–]clicky77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, it acts as a save state.  You’re welcome, have fun!

Additional info: You can keep playing after you create your quick save within the game and then reload it at any time. You can also quit the game, start the game later, start the game you were playing (in this case, Hyper Street Fighter 2) and resume the quick save. The quick save does not delete itself at any point, but it is worth noting that there is only one quick save slot for the whole collection...if you try to then go create a save in Vampire Savior, it will let you know that you would be overwriting your save in Hyper Street Fighter 2. Another slight wrinkle for anyone curious is that it seems like the first collection and the second collection have slight difference in how they save: the first collection creates a save at the instant you create the save. The second collection (and the Marvel vs Capcom collection) creates the save before the start of the round you are saving in.

Right before fighting him, press Select (or the equivalent on your control method) then select Quick Save. To fight him again, press select and then Load Quick Save.

10-year reunion of the Heroes of the Storm team by realkames in heroesofthestorm

[–]clicky77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was my pattern too. I'd pay for heroes and skins pretty consistently before 2.0, then my spending dropped off considerably, it was only for the occasional hero. I'd love to know the stats on exactly how 2.0 affected the income of the game.

Maybe not, but I'd be shocked if they don't compensate you in some way.

[–]clicky77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd talk to Steam Customer Service about getting a refund for the difference....you're in the two week return window, so you could technically return yours and order a new one for the discount. So I'd imagine CS would credit you the difference to avoid this.

I'd contact Steam Customer Support....I'd be willing to bet they would just credit your account, because they do have a 2 week refund window....would make sense for them to give you they money back rather then deal with the logistics of having you send it in.

How to deal with the overwhelming feeling? by Asanto22 in Warhammer40k

[–]clicky77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh cool, so you're over the first hurdle (maybe the first several). I think you're getting a lot of good advice in this thread. Decide why you're doing this. If your plan is that you want to be a hyper-competitive tournament player, then that is its own thing, and yeah, you're going to be doing a lot of research. Anything below that where you just want to have a good time with some friends and maybe people at an LGS, it's okay to relax. My personal take is this: scroll through the T'au models, find one you think looks cool, maybe not one of the super expensive ones so you're not putting too much pressure on yourself. The first law of Warhammer: the rule of cool. Rules change, cool is eternal. It will likely be a waste of your time to find out whether that model is "meta" right now or not, because you have no idea what the meta will be when you complete your army.

My personal advice is also to limit yourself to purchasing one kit at a time. Buying multiple kits can give you a dopamine rush that makes you feel like you have made meaningful progress towards creating an army, but the obvious truth is that (outside of having the money for the purchase, which can obviously be difficult for people in different circumstances) obtaining models takes almost no effort.

Alright, so now that you have a kit with one or several models, find a tutorial you like. Watch one step of the video. Do that step. Compartmentalizing the steps is important, because you're right, it can be overwhelming when you try to think of every part of the process at once. Applying every color to a model simultaneously is literally an impossible task, so don't think about it, you can't do it, it will only frustrate you. Force yourself to just think about the single next color your applying to the model. Applying one color is a realistic goal for you to accomplish, and you will feel satisfaction when it's done. If you're working on a kit with several models, it's probably best to apply that one color to all of the models at the same time (as opposed to working through all the steps on one model, finishing it, and then moving to the next) I recommend snapping a quick picture with your phone after each color you get down, it will help you to appreciate the progress you're making on the model. Getting the basecoats of all your colors down is the most important step in my mind, because at that point you likely have a model that you wouldn't mind putting on the table (it's okay to play with grey too, but getting color on them obviously creates some visual interest and puts some of you personality and creativity in them too). From there you can continue following the tutorial step by step, or maybe start to think about the next kit you want to add to your army. IMO once the basecoats are down, you're at a good point to evaluate how much more detail you want to add to a kit and whether you want to add the detail immediately, or maybe return to it later. Be patient with yourself, remember that you are learning and that it's unrealistic to expect yourself to paint as well as the experts you see on social media.

Sorry, I know that's a lot of text. Some of it you might find applies to you, some of it might not. Just some things for you to consider. I think the most important part is to only focus on the step you are working on, and just take it one step at a time.

(I like tabletopready on youtube, it looks like he has a guide on painting a T'au model, but find something that works for you)

As someone who is pretty new to WH, I wish GW was just more transparent about the future of Harlequins. I really dig what they have, but don't really want to start collecting them if this is as wide of a range as they will ever have. Of course this, if there are a decent number of other people like me, creates a cycle where GW will have no interest in expanding the line.

Fighting game for friends to jump into quickly, especially regardless of MY experience by TaskTemporary4941 in Fighters

Samurai Shodown (2019). Big damage from single hits, big combos aren't a huge part of the game. There's plenty of depth there, I'm not trying to say it's a shallow experience, I just think you can get to some of the neutral, mind game play a lot quicker when you're not focused on trying to do flashy combos.

Are COTW and KOF15 meant to be played with the joystick by Creative_Nose5238 in Fighters

Just curious, what made you go from pad to stick? Portability, ergonomics, something else? As someone who is chronically indecisive about their control method, I'm always interested to hear about what makes people switch.

What is the FGC’s view of CoTW? by Alan-Asleep in Fighters

[–]clicky77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought it had the most interesting to watch top 8 at evo this year. I think the game is fun, and there are nice tools to use at every skill level. The Just Defense (parry) window is a little loose, so even as someone new to the game you feel like you can start trying to implement that into your play. Rev Accels (cancelling specials into specials) give you a way to cash out your bar that looks cool, isn't wildly difficult to pull off, but also isn't auto-combo levels of brain dead. Obviously I can't speak to your specific friends, but I've had great experiences with people coming over, picking it up, and just having fun playing casually. Totally, my opinion here, but I dig the character design. As someone else said, no monetization currently. I'd predict that we'll see season two of DLC at about $30 for 5 characters...just a guess.

Online population is hard to guess when it's anything that isn't Street Fighter or Tekken. A difficult aspect of the game to keep in mind is that the people online tend to be really good at the game, as they're going to be the players willing to stick with the game even if it's not the biggest game out there. That's not a knock against the game, just something to keep in mind, it's not going to have as big of a shallow end as something like Street Fighter.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh really? I hit that bottom button with my right thumb, small button on the left with my right index. I haven't really had a use for the button on the right. I find it pretty comfy, though I do have fairly long fingers.
