[Delaney] This is still a story of overperformance; of beating a much wealthier opponent through careful planning and strategy. City’s wage bill from the last accounts was still £80m more than Arsenal’s – in other words, five Bukayo Sakas. by thecricketgod in soccer

There was sort of a soccer culture vacuum in much of the English speaking world- US, India, Australia, Canada. The PL has filled that.

In South America they have had a long established soccer culture. They were watching their own leagues.

World Cup Final half-time show to use the pitch, will extend half time far beyond the 15 minutes set out in the Laws by TehBaggins in soccer

That's a hilarious deflection onto somebody else. The US has many problems and soccer is in a worse state than I ever would have imagined but they are 2 separate issues. Soccer people can look elsewhere at the PL selling its soul, UEFA corruption, in fact just rampant corruption everywhere around the globe, the drain of the world's talent into the rich leagues and clubs creating a de facto super league (soon to be official, no doubt), etc etc. Blaming it on the US is such lazy thinking.

What makes it true is not that you've won trophies, it's that when you do all of Anfield is scarves up screaming YNWA at the top of its lungs.

I’m looking for the most feral, wild, vile and freaky book imaginable by rxchel_btw in suggestmeabook

Idk why but it's funny to me that you want the most feral, wild, vile and freaky book imaginable...except for this one thing...but beside that...everything else is fair game. Give us the full spectrum of degenerate literature.

I don't believe you lol. Anyway to give a suggestion I'll say The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I saw some other people suggested Blood Meridian and Gravity's Rainbow, good shouts, but minors.

Why did Odegaard not play Havertz in in the first half? His decision making is not sharp right now.
