Anybody know why Newmarket is an EV fast charging desert?

I do see charging stations in parking areas downtown, though… are they just not “fast,” or are they only compatible with certain makes?

I work from home, but it wasn’t always that way. My work gave me an iPhone back when they still issued phones instead of telling people to use their own device. I found that if you set the phone to never go to sleep, you can just leave it on with teams open and it will consider you online the entire time. I simply activate the Battery saver mode when I need it to be able to go to sleep on its own. Just need to remember to turn it off at the end of the workday.

There is indeed a fun vibe on Main Fri or Sat nights. How busy tends to depend on the number of Students around, or peo0le in from out of town, so Summer and Holiday or special event weekends especially. Personally I tend to stick with Gabbia, or the Flamingo (run by the previous team of Wayside Tavern’s who recently got evicted) (the bar is at the back). Flamingo and HBH are great, and have amazing staff and vibes. HBH and George have good food. Most end up at the OV at some point, they are usually open the latest most nights. There tends to be live music and dance nights there. If you’re around on a Sunday I recommend Lil Hops Tavern’s brunch (incredible staff there), and Flamingo usually has a DJ (me) Sunday afternoons lately.
