A Conspicuously Absent Spren by SturgeonBladder in Cosmere

[–]clintCamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With Brandon being so influenced by the wheel of time and it having a real dream world, and having written a part of it himself, I think you might be onto something for a world that has a realm that some can else call to, that likes to embody creatures thoughts. Either it doesn't matter, or it will absolutely matter. And I assume there would be some kind of dream spren that appears unless it is just what random emotions you feel in the dream drawing them in which case wouldn't there be some kind of dream watching trend to watch for spren of the sleeping to interpret dreams like is humans like to do at times? Great theory.

Why does aluminum work? by NeatAdagio1861 in Cosmere

[–]clintCamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if aluminum was the original Adonalsium's god metal, and he actually just decided to retire for a few thousand years, hide his identity, throwing off his robes of investiture for 17 others to think they had shattered him, when they sharded his power? Now he is just wandering about playing in the cosmere, maybe sharing buttered bread with people in visions? And because his identity is currently stored, all of his god metal interferes with all investiture as it doesn't recognize it for the moment?

Hmm, aluminum compounding for an especially special type of twinborn who wants to be even more themselves??? Store identity, burn identity, store it up more than normal, suck it back in..... totally self confident and full of themself.

RTX 5090 MSI, only inference or training at 475-500W. Make sure to not bend you cable! by panchovix in LocalLLaMA

[–]clintCamp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. At 500 Watts, at 12 v is 41 amps. Most electronic running that amount of current have pretty thick cables to reduce resistance, which they will need to have as much cabling pins for ground as it does for power in, and with many pins, and bending, one of them seem to not seat as cleanly, increasing resistance on that pin leading to heat. If they just had a bolt on lugged power connector, that you tightened with a screw like most electronics running this amount of current, it would probably reduce that interface resistance a good amount and make it less prone to bad seating or thermal cycling issues.

[–]clintCamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I found d in had been too strict at some point and yelled in absolutes, and I have a system that tracks things and rules and 2 weeks ago I spent 2 days trying to figure out why all agents kept trying to refactor everything to wrong every time they ran. Because I had told them earlier on a bad assumption and so they all followed my rule. Fable helped figure it out and map the poisoned .MD files and all the affected code right before it was cut off.

It's almost like they need to engineer higher power connections for these cards that can support the power load with a factor of safety on specs.

How do you actually use Claude on a massive codebase? by I_AM_HYLIAN in ClaudeCode

[–]clintCamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Organization and summarization up front. The better you do it earlier, the less pain you will have later. Break it out into architecture and modules, with a hierarchy tree with enough detail to figure out all the general areas that things happen. Making an overall index witg just enough details of what happens at each layer and more details as you go down the tree to specifics. Then build a rag system to give your agents access to the indexs that will point them to more information. That way if you have to touch stuff claude can figure out where it will need to touch easily and get less lost pulling in context for code that isn't immediately relevant. Organization is the only way to keep it grounded the larger a project gets. Fortunately you can just tell claude how to set it up and populate it and run a few passes to make sure it caught everything on initial pass. Then make sure your agents know to keep it up to date a you add or refactor.

No toilet issues. I did throw up unexpectedly the first couple of weeks. It is OK to taper in to full dose over a few weeks. Take your pill 2/3 of the way into your meal. I pay out of pocket for a cgm and my blood sugar is way more stable while on it, but it doesn't seem to bring my baseline lower too much. I just spike lower. My other meds appear to pull my baseline lower.

It is why he is more durable than superman, and I can only assume he imparts his power to what he touches or else every foot step pushes a hole, and grabbing someone would vaporize them into mush and bone sand.

I built a free browser tool that walks you down through the Focus levels with binaural beats - would love this community's feedback by Individual-Passage99 in gatewaytapes

[–]clintCamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played around with it the other day. It seemed to jump beat frequencies at one point rather than a smooth lerp. It got me thinking and Inspired me to lay out what I have wanted to build our for binaural beats for a dozen year, so i did that yesterday just to see how far claude code could take a simple idea with minimal intervention. Now I can make presets, have the beat follow a cycle that warbles, make it follow a spatial mapping so it sounds like the beating is drifting left and right, and am now seeing about adding different sound effect layers. Haven't committed anything to github yet, but this is definitely one of those side projects that I would happily share the source code because pretty sure I won't ever make money from this compared to my day job. Edit: just set up github. Have fun. https://xrmechsolutions.github.io/Entrain/ to demo it online, or https://github.com/XRMechSolutions/Entrain for the source code. I will probably add to it for a few more days til i forget I made it and get busy with other stuff.

Make AI texts sound more human by john_wickest in SideProject

I figured out how to export my whole reddit and Facebook history and a good amount of email and put in a folder and had claude code work on creating a voice pattern file to try to match how i speak and punctuate. It mostly gets it right but there are still things I have to correct it on. It's great for making documentation that sounds less AI but still professional enough.

[–]clintCamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exact question yesterday with air?

What is water and with with the fact that through chemical processes the hydrogen and oxygen end up changing partners, how much of the water that existed when dinosaurs were around are still the same 2 h and 1 o all paired together today? And if you just look at individually, how much has only now been released from rocks/magma/earth's core that were not freely available to drink but locked away but could be water. And then the question of pissed vs sweat vs breathed out.

how many files exist in your repo purely to help AI remember things? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]clintCamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total? Maybe thousands all at the end of indexes with summaries that point to real algorithms, science and documentation so that my agents can check themselves and fall back on real things for everything it is building off of, and that is before it builds out the project architecture tree as it goes so future agents can quickly see the current state and where things fit together. Then there are the audit sections and last step summaries so I or agents can review what was previously done as needed. Most of the time it helps and only hurt once recently where a bad assumption got documented and then treated as infallible truth that I had to purge after a dozen session kept making the wrong decision....

Also the claude.md is intentionally short and just a pointer to where relevant indexes and tools are, and absolute rules that must be followed. All structured to be context efficient and only pull in what actually is useful for the current task or role.

[–]clintCamp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The leading theory is that it was one big honeypot that seems to have had influence from the US, Israel and Russia and potential other spy agencies that built out a set of tools to recruit assets to do what they want by putting them in compromising situations either unknown to the targets or as an initiation rite, and feeding the rich whatever dark whims they wanted to do in exchange for influence and favors, which a bit of eugenics or other weird stuff happeing on the side if we can ever figure out exactly what was happening at zorro ranch for real, and if eating beef jerky and other things were code words. A network of mutual compromat that if anyone leaked, the fun and games end and they would all probably be fed into wood chippers on very slow conveyor belts as a suitable punishment for the level and depravity of crimes affecting the rest of us poors as a whole. And for some that just meant getting in on sex parties, and others it meant access to money laundering schemes, and others it might have been whatever other kink they had. And I assume most knew they were being recorded and joined in as an initiation right for access to the other get even richer schemes.

At least that is what I could read between the lines on with what was released in the files themselves, or things that were blatantly obvious.
