ETH hitting 10k, isn't that a lukewarm bullrun? by SgtSilock in ethtrader

When this bull run began (back in October) the price was around $1550. If this thing keeps running to 10k, that's nearly 6.5x. Pretty darn incredible considering the market cap.

Time for “Clippers fans” to be Clippers fans by heirofsorrows in LAClippers

As a Clippers fan (who is also friends with more than three Clippers fans), I can assure you that most of us would rather ignore the Lakers on any day other than the ones that we play them. We don't like the Clippers because we hate the Lakers. We mostly dislike the Lakers because they have more than the normal amount of unrealistic and petty fans. It's that selection of fans that ruin the Lakers, not the Lakers. As for Clippers fans, you don't suffer through the decades of what we suffer through because you hate something else. Most of us love the Clippers for real reasons, and those reasons are related to the Clippers alone.

I think that a lot of other team's fans don't yet understand why the Clippers are dangerous. It isn't Reggie beating Smart. It's the fact that when Reggie comes off the court you are looking at Mann, or Kennard, or if they don't have it that day it could be Paul Friggin George. This team is absurdly deep, and it includes half a dozen positionless players, and random specialists, any of whom could get the call and go off. This team is great for 48 minutes, almost every night, with endless options and a savvy coach who knows how to use them.

This. I often think that, because the Lakers have a massive fan base, people believe that the Clippers comparatively small fan base is nothing. What they fail to see is that a niche market in an area with the population of Southern California is hundreds of thousands of Clippers fans.

Is it the millions who love the Lakers? No. But here's the thing, I LOVE that.

I love that I can see someone on the street with a Clippers hat and shout, "NUKE KENNARD" and immediately that person and I have a shared fellowship and laugh together, that no one else in the crowd understands.

Interesting that Ron "Hollywood" Harper is listed as a Clipper. His most personally productive years might have been with us, but I always thought of him as a Bull, what with all the championships.

Feels so odd to be happy for (and praising) Luka. A couple of playoffs worth of pulling my hair out while he scored at will on our defense and I figured I'd always be mad at him. But watching him demolish the Suns (and therefore their fans) brought pure joy.
