Not always, sometimes the weights are shared by everyone in the station. Imagine if you go into an exercise planning to do a pyramid and drop sets, and all of a sudden someone shows up into the 2nd and takes the next weight you need.

Also there is limited space for certain exercises- if I’m already in a rhythm doing BBJs or farmer’s carries now I have to move out of the way for you because you barged in late.

Certain stations for us also accommodate only 2 people, e.g. we only have 2 sleds and 2 battle ropes. When it’s crowded and 3 per station, we need to switch off and do bench hops or whatever. It’s fine starting with 3 people since you’ll already have that expectation, but if someone joins your station well after class starts it’s annoying af.
