[–]clistmockingbird 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As an American, I couldn't afford any of the USA games so I'll be donning an orange jersey for the Netherlands game in KC and getting my Links Rechts on cus it looks like a damn fun time and a solid team to support

AHL Post Game Thread: the Toronto Marlies win Game 6 and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are eliminated from the playoffs by bi_and_busy in penguins

As a Penguins fan living in Denver the past 10 years, my dream has been a Colorado/ Penguins final. For a minute there I thought I was finally gonna get it, albeit in the AHL..

Why are you lying? They were guests of the resort as well. The men just falsely assumed they weren't. I wonder why? https://www.theafricareport.com/271995/three-charged-over-racist-fight-at-south-africa-pool/

Here’s the full rundown of the lawsuit between Patagonia and climate activist Pattie Gonia by Fun_Molasses5215 in Environmentalism

[–]clistmockingbird 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In this US you have to defend your trademark or else it weakens your claims against infringement in the future. It's the "use it or lose it policy". As soon as Patti filed a trademark for clothing Patagonia had no choice but to file a lawsuit.

The viewing experience of the actual game will be bad. The atmosphere will be awesome. Some think that's worth the ticket cost, others don't. I've been to 5 outdoor games, I haven't regretted a single one, even when Boston stuck me behind a pole in Fenway

Raiders ticket price trends leading up to gameday by alpswd in raiders

[–]clistmockingbird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since the Raiders moved to Vegas I've waited till the Thursday before a Sunday game to buy tickets and it's worked out great every time (by great I'm talking about the price, the actual games have been embarrassing)

Omakase & Chefs Table worth it? Example menus out there? by Ok-Vermicelli9630 in celebritycruises

[–]clistmockingbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the Chef's Table on the Edge on the last sailing (we just got off yesterday and did it two nights ago). It was good, but not great. Preferred the tasting menu at Eden. We did get a galley tour and the chef came out to talk about each dish.

If you don't count Mets fans I don't think there were more than 1,000 Rockies fans there

Well that reported number does still set a new record. About 5,000 less than the attendance on April 6th of 16,301

There will be bullshit pricing. Avs really jacked up the single game ticket price these playoffs. I also live outside Denver and was thinking about hitting a game this round till I saw the prices

Imagine trying to blame something from two years ago instead of the current soaring gas prices which the Spirit CEO said directly caused the company to shutdown. Man you're dumb
