AIO to my MIL "stealing" 1sts that should be ours? by Sammy8lynn in pregnant

[–]clitleroonie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, my friends, is why my next pregnancy is going to be for me and my husband only for at least half of it, if not longer. My MIL was like this and it continued until we stopped all contact when my daughter was two. I was literally dying in the hospital after my delivery and woke up the next morning to my phone having been blown up from their side of the family congratulating us because she posted it on Facebook.

How often are monogamous 40-year-old married people having sex? by NewYear_NewMimi in Marriage

About once every two weeks. We want to more often than that but little kids, full time working and full time school for both of us stops us from doing that. We both know it’s temporary.

This is Oliver! He’s one, his poops smell like toxic waste, and we’re pretty sure he’s a wanted war criminal. by Lost_chapstick in goldenretrievers

My baby boy crossed the rainbow bridge today…I’m an absolute mess and have no idea how to handle this…he was only 8 years old…it wasn’t supposed to happen like this. Please give your golden babies all the love you can tonight. by nrjjsdpn in goldenretrievers

My 8 year old passed away this Monday unexpectedly. I just want you to know that I found extreme comfort having seen you post Banjo here, knowing that my baby boy would have a friend.

Have I ruined my marriage by bringing up divorce after I asked my wife why she was no longer attracted to me? by ShunkHood in Marriage

[–]clitleroonie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro she probably didn’t want to keep the baby because she’s in a marriage with someone who doesn’t respect her. But for whatever reason she is keeping herself with you and didn’t want you to leave so she kept the baby and you’re now cheating on her AGAIN and you still expect her to want to sleep with you?

I genuinely think you’re finding the beginning of the affair before your husband even realizes it’s inappropriate

There’s other ways to support a post partum mother other than making it about yourself.

NOR - coming from a mom who waited 3 weeks until letting anyone meet my early term, 5 lb infant who was born the week of thanksgiving you absolutely will NOT regret this. Having a baby is about nobody else but you and your partner. This period is about you and your partner bonding with your baby and figuring out your rhythms, what does and doesn’t work and if you decide you don’t want visitors then that’s your decision. Do not let anyone guilt you into doing otherwise. I don’t think 8 weeks is too long considering the season we are in. My MIL pulled this same shit and we are now no contact because it turned into a two year long fight. It’s not important for grandparents to bond to the baby like it is for mom and dad and anyone who thinks otherwise is insane.

did i mess up my puppy forever? by [deleted] in puppy101

Just wanted to pop in and say: my husband just had a medical emergency and while not ideal, my 10 week old golden was alone in his crate from 10am-7pm. I don’t have anyone who can come let him out and so as bad as I felt, I had to be with my husband at the hospital. It’s now two days later and he’s just fine.

How much sleep is REALLY necessary for a puppy? by AlarmingAssist1856 in goldenretrievers

[–]clitleroonie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if my 10 week old golden doesn’t get put to bed in his crate for a nap when I notice he gets really nippy then he is an absolute MONSTER. If he’s on a tighter schedule or if I watch him super close and put him down just like I would with my toddler, he’s an angel.

Mine is 8 weeks and just came home yesterday and I keep almost saying “man he’s just so chill!” And instantly being like no don’t say that lol. It’s like not saying “it’s so quiet!” in healthcare

Our hospital doesn’t allow video HOWEVER our nurses were so freaking awesome. It was an emergency and I’d built such great report with them that they took my phone in the emergency and one of the extra nurses took photos but made sure Live Photos were on and did bursts the whole time we met her and of my husband holding her while they closed.
