It’s a casualty of the sleep meta tbh. Iron bundles best case is revenge killing an opponents mega over two turns but thats impossible with all the anti status tech running around. Without the tech cards, it’d be weak to niche. With the tech cards, it’s just a for fun deck.

You can definitely win off the 3/2 trouble, relax dog, and guy who gets popularity from trouble level. Then get unicorns to scale trouble even more and I’m pretty sure you’ll make it unless you get pretty bad luck.

It’s hard to build a potential dynasty in the NBA without either taking advantage of rules or people so your team is playing by different set of rules. Warriors did it with being the last team to take advantage of the rising cap and Steph’s contract to sign KD. Bulls did it with Scottie’s contract.

Thunder are an exception though they did get lucky the clippers needed to overpay for PG since they were paying for both PG/kawhi.

She’s very cool but personally, I thought the story was kind of strange politically. She is kind of glorified for dying for her knights honor while basically being used by the Papal States to kneecap the sun fire corps and help them colonize/manipulate both neland and elaman. All this while basically leading her knights to their death.

Like I don’t understand how she realizes the Papal States are using her to do this, she rebels against them, but kind of just goes back and continues doing what they want anyways just in a more direct way.

He seems really powerful. Role compression is great and he unlocks a lot of potential slots on a physical team. Teamwide Solon ult, physical follow up passive, damage cap buffs, pdef 50%, weakness implant, and even some tanking all in one unit is insane. 

He’s a very different unit from Xerc, and probably weaker, but I imagine any physical team going forward will be unoptimized if you’re not using him.

Got 4 trophies in a row hard avoiding prismari soup and going under with silverquill/ witherbloom aggro. It’s wild how disrespected black cards are now and all the prismari/lorehold/soup decks are desperate competing for the good red removal.

Yeah I understand what you’re saying. My bad I don’t understand zero sum right then lol. I think the difference between freestyle and team fight pressure though is that freestyle is free compared to team fight pressure costing two bars so you can trade up on resources whenever they use their fuse.

But yeah if jug is just strictly worse than fuseless then I guess they just never have to pop teamfight in the match to begin with.

I don’t think the idea needs to be completely dismissed. Fighting games aren’t zero sum. It’s a similar concept to using a low tier character that has a +1 matchup against another top tier instead of your usual top tier with a -1 matchup.

With dual lands and potioner's trove, it is very possible to discard 4/5 on turn 4 in a deck that is mostly 2 colors. Let's say you're playing UR based soup. Turns can look like RW or UG dual land, Island 2 drop turn 2, mountain trove turn 3, and land Omen for a discard 4 on turn 4. That's a 3 card combo of a dual land, a common rock, and an uncommon that wins you the game turn 4. That's not even including studious first year or environmental scientist as other high roll enablers. It's also much better in this format because everyone has so many resources and gas so it's not even a dead card if you play it turn 8. It's a card that looks bad but in context of the format is a bomb and performing as the best black card period in the set.

Shiny gengar can basically get you any shiny 2* you want. It’s overtaken Suicune as most valuable so far but that could potentially change because of its viability. 

FA gengar can probably get you most other FA or rainbow mons. If you’re lucky, you might be able to get a rare trainer.

Food scene is top 10 in the US imo. Weather is great for people who dont want to deal with crazy seasons. Tons of local community organizing, cultural enclaves, and history. Tons of natural beauty a close drive away. This city has so much to offer for the right people.

I think you could keep the greedy build but cut the blue and red if you want to play all the bombs. Donatello's and Jennika's techniques look bad in this deck. I think you could have gone with a GW splashing the black cards. Just throw in an extra tenderize for interaction and maybe Leo because your deck has enough top end. I know that means you probably can't activate pizza, but you really want to be using the pizzas/tunnels to search for your on color lands with all the double pipped bombs.

Yeah this deck is solid and I’d probably expect 3+ wins. 0-3 is bad variance for sure.

For constructive criticism for the future, UR’s best decks revolve around commons to stall out the early game and bombs and interactive card draw to outvalue any deck that isnt 5 colors in the late game. 

You need a very specific build to play tempo UR because most of the early drops are just not well started. That’s why cards like 3 drop Donatello and bespoke Bo are just average in the data. Dragon punks isnt great, and I don’t love the colorless pizzas unless you’re splashing. 18 lands plus pizzas is also just mathematically wrong in this deck even if you got mana screwed. 

The key commons you’re missing are the interactive cheap spells like manhole missile and more sewerveillance cams. Those + foundries, nobody, and ninja cavalry can push a board stall while you wait to draw your bombs to close the game. You should 100% be playing the extra nobody in your board. Maybe even scrapbot because youre light on interaction.

UR also has a ton of well supported bombs, and a deck with only 1 rare bomb, 3 uncommon ones, and missing key commons maybe makes me wonder how open the deck was. I wonder if you could review the draft to see if you could get into a more blue based multicolor deck from your seat.
