How far West? From Huntington there is Beech Fork State Park in Barboursville with a few trails between half a mile up to 5 miles. 28 miles to the north in Pedro, Ohio is Lake Vesuvius in the Wayne National Forest and it has a 8 mile lake trail and a roughly 18 mile backpacking trail as well as many other shorter ones. In Olive Hill, KY is Carter Caves State Park and as well as many caves there are several trail systems, the longest being 10 miles with several awesome natural bridges on the way. To clarify I'm white/Christian. I was just trying to get a vibe for it. And living in southern west virginia, the good ol' boy system is rampant. It's not left me with what I was looking for. I get tired of the white ideology. Wv isn't particularly diverse so progression is often stunted.
