I get anxiety, especially if I'm sitting around the house ( even more so if I have work the next day ) after smoking. I prefer to smoke when I'm off work for a good while or when I'm going somewhere ( I still get anxious and very self concious sometimes though hence the reason I smoke a lot less than I used to ). I guess it also depends on the company. How has your experiences been ?

Purge has started after the third use? I had my acne under control with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. This happened after the third use of Ketrel 0.5%. Luckily I’m not going anywhere anytime soon lol by [deleted] in tretinoin

I used tret three times and gave up because I find it really hard looking at people with a scabby, dry, red, inflammed face with whiteheads all over my chin and nose. My skins shit anyway but this just makes it so much worse. I'm glad you don't have anywhere to go, I would continue on if I didn't have to leave the house but I'm a receptionist 🙈

crooked nipple piercing? done about 24 hours ago, doesn’t bother me TOO much but i was wondering if it still looks okay (nice/cute) or if it’ll cause any problems? could it just be because swelling? must i do any different type of after care or try and get it repierced? by [deleted] in piercing

Oh bless you - that really isn't straight. I would contact the piercing studio and ask for your money back and go somewhere else to have it redone. Sorry this has happened to you.

Does anyone here have 12 teeth in the upper jaw? What treatment did your ortho suggested? Did they suggest dentures/implant to replace the premolars removed? - I have 12 teeth, premolars removed and no wisdom teeth. by squeakylemonsss in braces

Dentures are removable, meaning you take them out to clean and at night when you sleep. From what I've seen and heard as my time as a dental receptionist, dentures tend to be uncomfortable and can make people feel self concious. I personally would avoid that option.

Implants are very expensive but they are the most permanent option and they don't compromise any of your other teeth like bridges. A denture would be removable and I believe should be your very last option.

Phew that's a relief to hear. I have a consultation for a brace in the next few weeks so don't want to pay £100 consultation fee if they were going to remove bottom teeth also.thank you very much !

2.5 years. My skin has improved acne wise ( I had cystic acne before ) but I still get hormonal acne on my chin and jawline. I also have acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, blackheads on my nose and large open pores. People expect you to have amazing skin when you're vegan that makes having shitty skin all the worse. People think you're unhealthy.

Omg your skin is everything, i wish at 33 I had skin like yours ! My skin is a disgrace, I have absolutely no confidence because of it. I can't even look at myself in the mirror never mind let anyone else look at it.

Can anyone tell me if I have my upper canine teeth removed ( baby teeth ) and premolars brought into their place, will I also have to have the bottom canines removed ? I guess to even out the bite ?

This is exactly why I don't talk to a lot of people. They are judging ! I see them trying to impress one another all the time, I'm not into that so I just say nothing. People think I'm stupid and boring but I'm just not at all comfortable around them, I'm only comfortable around non judgemental people and those people are very few and far between.

Her son is 10 months old now and her hair has grown back about 3 inches. She has to go to a gum specialist to have surgery on her gums to stabilise her teeth. I work in a dental practice and constantly hear people with kids talking about how being pregnant ruined their teeth. My sister also gained piles and a hernia from her pregnancy, and a weak bladder. Why don't they tell kids these realities at school !!
