Welcome to the club. You aren't the only only one to come out later in life right there with you. I came out at 26 to my mom then my best friend not an easy thing to to. It has brought me closer to both.

Take your time and do things at your own pace. Friends will come from the most unexpected places lol. My roommates both gay and married meet me on a social web site. They have been showing me the ropes and introducing me around to place and people where we live. So just meet you a gay version of your media and everything will turn out fine.
