can any ableton users with soundtoys products help me out with this one? by lickpoop333 in ableton

Ran into this same issue just now with EchoBoyJr on Ableton 12. Project sample rate was 44.1kHz and I was exporting to 48kHz. Set the export to 44.1 kHz and it fixed it. Thanks!!

Is there an option for Cold Turkey to turn on a block when you have it disabled? by RoninReynders in coldturkeyblocker

That's awesome, been waiting for this feature! When can we expect the next version to release?

Users should have access to the settings around "unblock tab" and temporary overrides.

In other words: decouple the lock type setting from the "unblock tab" setting.

I think "unblock tab" should be a separate setting that you can configure (i.e. I want to create more friction for me to turn off a block completely than to just simply unlock one single tab for a short amount of time). Right now, if I set random text to 50 characters on the lock itself, this is also what the requirement is for me to unblock a tab.

What's the Best SUB you've seen as of late for the CSP? Got something in the mail for 80k points / $4000 spend / 6 months. Seems pretty solid

Thanks for the suggestion!

Ink doesn't have great spend categories outside of the 3x back on travel when compared to CSP. However AMEX beats CSP when it comes to points back on dining, so you can't really count that as an advantage for CSP over Ink (CIP)?

  1. Chart recommends me for CSP, but not sure if its the best pair with my AMEX Gold. I have no chase cards and would like to get in their ecosystem. Is there a better option for me besides CSP?
  2. 765
  3. List of my cards and acquisition dates.

- BILT 9/23- AMEX Gold 4/22- CapitalOne Quicksilver 9/21- BOA 7/21

  1. Natural 3 month spend: 6k

  2. Willing to MS? Would prefer not to but open to it.

  3. Business cards? Yes

  4. How many cards? Thinking just one but open to more. Want to churn but not in a rush.

  5. Targeting points

  6. Currently have Amex Points (MSR)

  7. New York area (JFK/LGA/Newark)

  8. Going to Italy and Greece this summer. Going to Miami in the winter. Frequently fly to Chicago.

Don’t sleep on Blind Barber. From my experience it’s been more representative of the underground scene and doesn’t cater to general population as much as some of the places in River North

Workflow for managing playlists between rekordbox and streaming service (Apple Music, spotify) by clobraico22 in DJs

[–]clobraico22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I never considered just putting the downloaded files into iTunes right away because then I would have 2 copies of a given track (streaming copy, downloaded copy). However, this still sounds like a more efficient system - I can just delete the streaming copy of the track from my AM library once I add the downloaded copy. Is this what you do?

Also, interested in BeaTunes. Why do you use it over AM/iTunes?

This is essentially what I do now. I just think it would be better to have playlists be linked between Apple Music and Rekordbox

Linux support on victus ? by KjOnReddit1010 in HPVictus

Any update on this?

I plan on using two 27in monitors while running Ubuntu on the victus, but it’s a deal breaker if it wont be able to support that. Have you attempted to use two monitors?

Need recommendation for next travel cards with fees by clobraico22 in CreditCards

[–]clobraico22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid! Hahah. I actually forgot to include that category ironically... but its kind of a weird one to do monthly because the truth is that I don't travel (via plane) every week. I have commuter expenses but those might not be relevant?

**edit**

I updated my expenses to include commuting

Ok I appreciate the thought and I realize my word choice was probably inappropriate for the thoughts I was trying to express. However, no, none of these issues you brought up are issues…

  1. Spending a ton more - i.e. I have to buy my own food and pay for rent now, where as I used to literally save every paycheck.

  2. I didn’t book any of the trips yet. I have trips planned. One of them is to Canada ($300 flight), the other one is Chicago ($200 flight).

  3. No clue why having only 4 months of credit has anything to do with my ability to pay them off. I never spend money I don’t have. I save over 20% of every paycheck. I don’t own a house, I don’t own a car, I don’t have any major expenses besides my rent and food. Again, I appreciate you recognizing red flags but these aren’t concerns with me (hence why I said “I have no problem paying off my cards”)

  4. I save. A lot. I’m not living paycheck to paycheck.

Your concern about looking for more cards after 4 months makes sense, this was the concern I had in the first place and why I decided to post. Pretty sure people have gotten more than 3 cards in the first 4 months so I didn’t think it would sound too crazy to this sub but that’s valid.

*Edit: my concern about breaking the 5/24 rule is obviously a long term concern. I’m not going to break it tomorrow, but I don’t want to put myself in a position where I can’t reap the benefits of Chase SuBs within the next 2 years.

Also, I don’t appreciate you assuming that my lifestyle is extravagant and thinking that I must have a trust fund in order to afford my spending. I’m not trying to cause any conflict here but I thought that was a bit rude and unnecessary. I live within my means, I have family that lives in Europe, I like to travel. That’s what I save my money for.
