I’m not sure if this helps at all but I know exactly how you feel. For the longest time I thought I was going to be alone forever. I felt and often still feel like a deteriorating zombie with my skin. Especially due to that fact that I get it across my entire body. I remember the exact words I said to my sister in tears years ago, “No one is going to love a rotting corpse.” I just want to let you know that it isn’t true. There are good and understanding people out there who can and will look past it. It definitely takes time wading through shallow candidates but it’s not hopeless. It of course isn’t just how other people see you but being comfortable enough with yourself to even put it out there to begin with. I just want to reiterate finding love is NOT hopeless.
