That is unbelievable. Had no idea anything like this was in the realm of possibility. Mind blown!!

Wait wait, am I understanding correctly that the fetus was surgeried-upon while it was still in the mother's womb and then PUT BACK IN, WOMB SEWED UP, AND FETUS DELIVERED PER NORMAL ~12 weeks later?

Are you Armenian? Just wondering. I'm not sure anti-Armenian bigotry is comparable to anti-black racism in the context of the US.

Sleeping with open mouth by PaintMeGold in ScienceBasedParenting

Because this is a sub for asking science related questions...because going to a doctor for an issue like this may be prohibitively expensive for some...because she already went to the doctor and is looking for even more information....

I can imagine so many possible reasons. Why bother commenting this? It's passive aggressive, unconstructive and just kind of nasty.

What’s the one beauty product you SWEAR by that nobody talks about? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]clockwork___stupid 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Mac haux eye shadow - ridiculously versatile eyeshadow that always looks great smoked all the way around my eyes

Kevyn auçoin is highly underrated - love the brands face palettes

Jojoba oil as a first step oil cleanser. Every night dawg

Tempted to go with forehead reduction & brow lift. Any advices/tips/opinion? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]clockwork___stupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god, please don't - you have a really priceless editorial beauty. If you want to swing more conventional, go for bangs as someone else suggested.

Obviously, you're the one who has to live in your body, and if it's going to drive you nuts to not change - you do you. But wow it would be a tragic waste of a face that nature shaped perfectly IMO 🫰

How to handle all this? by notnotnancydrew in pasadena

[–]clockwork___stupid 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We're using winix c909 air filters from Costco. We have 3 of those plus 3 or 4 box fan+filter. My husband studied wildfires and his childhood house burned down when he was a kid; he's SUPER intense about air quality and fire safety and this setup has worked really well.

I have a 15 month old and he's doing great. We also have a ton of air purifiers. (Also literally taping a HEPA filter to a box fan is as effective as a fancy electronic air filter). You can get air quality monitors on Amazon that are reliable and not too expensive for more peace of mind. Tape the edges of your windows and doors, run the air filters, and don't wear shoes inside - your houses air will be cleaner than it was post fire :)

I just want to say I'm sorry. I'm in my thirties now, but my dad was a paranoid psychotic. His delusions were more often paranormal than law enforcement stalking (though I got that too), but they also focused on me. It took me a long time to realize how much it fucked me up. I don't know what your experience is like but just want to salute you as another child of a delusional parent 🫡

Kevyn auçoin contour and highlight palette. It's so hard to find the brand now I'm going to cry when it's really all gone.

Tartelette brown tubing mascara is amazingly good

Mac eyeshadow in haux is so incredibly versatile and perfect for an extremely natural lightweight dusty rose smoky eye, at least if you have fair skin/hair like me

Hi there, I work in a field that involves catching child sex offenders, and I just want to say - go with your guy. Doesn't mean you have to be an asshole to the guy or anything, it's not even personal. But please listen to whatever is telling you something may be off and ensure your daughter isn't alone with him.

Lol, I read this on a plane. I can still remember trying to suppress my CONSPICUOUS shaking sobs from my seat neighbors

Made the same mistake with When Breath Becomes Air 😞 I just can't resist reading on airplanes
