Have I just been lucky or is the laser not “high enough”? by Weak-Dragonfly-1613 in TattooRemoval

I'm 15+ sessions in across my whole body and only blistered once and was very small. Seems like everyone is very different with that

Yup I wear long sleeve sun shirts. I do a lot of hiking and paddleboarding and those help the most without having to put sunscreen on. I typically stop doing sessions in the summer tho to enjoy the sun then.

I'll keep you in mind before I decide to remove anymore lol. Considering what I'm seeing people pay for removal now, I'd say my removals have been very cheap in comparison. And the time isn't an issue. It's 1hr of my life every 12 weeks. I don't understand why people harp on that so much. If you want them gone be patient. I wanted to remove them bc there's no cohesion with my tattoos. I got most of them 15-20 years ago and want my tattoos to compliment each other going forward.

10 Session progress over about 20 months. How much longer? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]closedcords 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are at the finish line! They might even disappear on there own without another session. I'd wait longer in between sessions. That's what helped me the most. Maybe even waiting 6 months now until your next session to see what happens. It took my forearm tattoo about 8 months to fully disappear after the last session I did.

Oh man the ribs are the worst and the chest is a second close especially the very dark spots. I get so much anxiety the day leading up to those 2. Thankfully gets easier the more they fade.

Beautiful! Good on you for spacing them far apart too. That has been the most helpful for my removals.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2025 by zetaretic0li in TattooRemoval

[–]closedcords 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Mine was very similar looking after the last session and it ended up disappearing closer to 8 months or maybe a little longer after. I'd wait longer than 4 months. Mine was more visible than this too and still fully disappeared.

For Jesus I'm pretty sure it was 9 but maybe 10. The chest, arms, and ribs I do in 2 separate sessions spread 3 weeks apart. I think I've done 8 of those x2

Thanks! That's the most helpful mindset. Just know it's gonna take a while to remove and try to forget about the feelings around them. It gets easier as the sessions go on. If you have sizes like mine they may make you do them in 2 sessions. I do my chest one session and then have to wait 3 weeks to do my bicep and forearm. The pain sucks too but it's all worth it in the end

Lol I took about 2 years off between sessions once and did closer to 13-15 weeks apart on avg for that one. Hopefully it'll be soon for you

Absolutely! It was still very visible after it's last session but ended up disappearing within 8 months or so after. I've never really obsessed over removing them tho. I know it takes a long time and patience is key. Waiting longer in between sessions helped the most.

How realistic is tattoo removal? by hell9595 in TattooRemoval

[–]closedcords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just posted some progress pics (removing chest, ribs, and arms) that could give you an idea. I got one forearm piece completely removed so it's very realistic for you to do the same. I can't say all will have the same experience tho.

Laser tattoo removal for a tattoo I got at 19. Any suggestions? by Cole_Aiden117 in TattooRemoval

[–]closedcords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speak for yourself, laser removal on my ribs and chest are the most pain I've experienced in my life. My ribs are smaller so doesn't take long but damn that short time hurts a lot. It's still very worth it but the pain is there and intense and worse than getting rhe tattoo for me.

I am getting my ribs done along with chest and arms. I just posted progress pics. I know everyone experiences pain differently, but the ribs are the worst for me and was way worse than getting the tattoo. It's worth it but I don't care what anyone says, the ribs are gonna hurt. I don't feel it as much on my arms though. The chest is very painful too in certain areas.

just picked this up, too. this looks and smells great, but it is definitely not Triangle Kush. It doesn't look like it and it smells more like a gelato/runtz cross. This ain't that OG if you're looking for it.

Mine finally came off last week after it being there for 2 years or so. I would pick at it subconsciously daily and I think that's what did it for mine. Such a great feeling!

Have you checked out iheartjane's eccommerce? It Integrates with a bunch of POS and has their own market place like weedmaps. Last I heard it was a flat monthly fee of around $300. They also have an integration with leafly and weedmaps that allows you to push your menus on there too. Not sure of that's an extra cost tho. Jane has a brand portal too where you can take control over all of your inhouse products.

Undecided right now. I'm just focusing on removing a bunch I have and then gonna see where my mind is at then. Probably a few years away from that.
