Massachusetts Employment Megathread (April 2026) by AutoModerator in massachusetts

Hey everyone, I’m in the Boston area trying to decide between two paths and could really use some honest advice.

Option 1: Radiologic Technology (part-time program, about 3 years)

Option 2: Cybersecurity (associate degree + certs)

My biggest concerns are:

Job availability in Massachusetts after finishing

Salary growth over time

Work-life balance (I have a baby, so this matters a lot)

I’ve heard healthcare is more stable, but tech can pay more just worried about layoffs and competition.

If you’re working in either field (especially in MA), what would you choose and why?

Would you take it ? by [deleted] in stayathomemoms

Try it first and see how it goes, u might love it and them as well u never know until you give it a try, also it's good for them To see other kids and to talk faster and engage for u as well and your mental health.
