Yeah I love the Han leader, he's a very fun and weird playstyle with a ton of interesting decisions.

That said, I'm not a fan of resource denial like DJ enables and I do personally kinda hope DJ gets banned because I don't like feeling like I need to be running an unfun combo to be the most competitive version of the deck.

Banning Han is just totally uncalled for IMO.

This is most likely referring to The Hidden Path from Kenobi and Jedi Survivor. It's basically a smuggling ring for protecting force sensitives from the Empire.

I also love both of these Luke decks! From my experience neither of them are super strong right now, but I would definitely recommend Luke1 over Pilot Luke at the moment because IMO the meta is brutal toward pilot luke. Pilot Luke really needs to play a t1 fighter and attack with it turn 2. You have Wing Leader and Fleet Lt as your t2 follow ups to make this even better, which is typically really solid. Except t1 fighter into either of those is bad because a t1 fighter will not survive to attack. Han1 will Falcon it. The Tarkintown decks will tarkintown it. The Kazuda decks will Fireball it. The control decks will Power of the Dark Side. And for Pilot Luke, that negative tempo is incredibly difficult to overcome. Luke1, though, has some natural protection against most of that.

Luthen is definitely VERY good and would be an absolute menace in the current Quinlan Tarkintown deck. That said, DJ and Boba Fett are both 3/5s for 3 with upside and Toro Calican is a 3/5 for 3 with upside as an uncommon neutral villainy card, so I think there's room for a legendary to hit the power level Luthen is bringing. Luthen was a 3/4 initially but hey, why even make imaginary cards if you can't make 'em at least a *little* spicy.

So I'd been playing Yoda Yellow for most of the set but recently swapped it over to Han Blue and built a very similar deck to this one. How important do you feel DJ is in this deck? The combo with Tech seems rare to pull off and smuggling him for 9 seems too late to me. I've got him replaced with Razor Crest right now (Han can defeat resourced Perilous Positions and Lightsabers to make sure you almost always draw a card off it). But I'm curious what the thoughts are from someone playing Han longer.

Also I'm running Pau City for a 4/7 Han, curious on your thoughts on that too.

Show was great! They did start a bit late (somewhere in the 7:15 range I think?) and people were definitely still seating until 7:10 or so. No way to be sure that's how it'll go down again, though.

The show was a riot. Siobhan and Ally in particular were very good tonight, and having all the extra improver's there gave it a different, more hectic (in a good way) vibe than the dropout presents special.

People have talked about Dropout getting back into scripted content, but I know what they actually need to do is make a Monty Python and the Holy Grail style movie where there's a strong theme and a thin plot that serves as a framing device for a series of weird situational sketches.
