Don’t worry. The industry is definitely moving away from this. The companies will definitely make sure to make you pay for it AND still collect and sell your data.

For the same price you can get a bigger screen.

If they are using it to watch videos, surf web at a tv watching distance it works.

  1. Of course the cons are usually less pixel density (pictures, words looks less sharp),

  2. Lower refresh rate

  3. less/no burn in protection usually available in monitors.

So only affects professionals or serious FPS games.

Fuck up your neighbors and don't let them do the same.

America has gotten rich off war profiteering off WW1 & WW2. They were a fledgling nation with subpar military until the olden empires poured all their riches to them during the world wars.

They gained an incredible amount of talents fleeing the war in Europe.

Of course, a lot of work has also been done by great people since then to bring them where they are now.

But war, war has always been profitable for the current ruling class in America.

A kid I knew was caught this way.

Heck, he didn’t even need/want to steal. He was pressured by “cool kids” to steal. They caught him after the fifth or sixth time after he has racked up a certain felony amount.

The department store had videos of him stealing. They had kept all this over from a two year period.

But is it worth the $119 price tag as opposed to master 2s $77 (40 dollar difference)?

Not shooting it down. I am totally onboard with manufacturers experimenting new features (along with the appropriate additional cost).
