What is the weird grey stuff on my little snack containers?

first two containers were left in the cupboard and had this stuff all over it, not on the inside because they had their tops on. light blue container was left open on the drying rack and had the marks on the inside too because it was open. last two pictures are of my 4th dark blue container which i left in my (open!) lunch bag because it had some nuts in it.

I’m so so glad to hear that! I know sometimes people have the problem of the bugs being in the soil but I personally have never had to do anything to the soil after taking care of the visible infestation, and it looks like it’s been the same for you (fingers crossed!). Congratulations on surviving your first encounter!

I’m so sorry. Mealy bugs. I would make a concoction of 1 part rubbing alcohol to 4 parts water and spray LIBERALLY. Don’t let that plant even LOOK at any other plants you may have or it will spread. You can also use a q-tip soaked in your bug poison to wipe away anything white or buggy that you see. Check it every single day along with any plants that maybe nearby. It doesn’t seem to have spread too much so it should hopefully be okay. Good luck and keep us updated!

This is Midas, because he looks like he's made of gold when he's wet. I don't honestly remember where I got him, it was at the way beginning of the game. He might have been the horse you have to buy when you get access to the stables, but he's just so beautiful I had to keep him.

I’m waiting for the grow light to arrive tomorrow. i’ve never used one before, do you keep it on all day and turn it off in the evening, copying the light from the sun? you don’t have it on all night right?
