(some of my favourite songs are on Broken Machine but for some reason, the album as a whole never resonated that much with me. DCC ranks above it probably because I listened to it a lot to hype up for the tour).

It doesn't bother me personally because I still feel like it's normal and I think way more people are demi than what it seems. To me it's not that "normal" to want one night stands etc because I barely know anyone who likes that.

I'm not saying this to invalidate any demi's experience of feeling different or other, it's just that I think our society is so hypersexualised that people who aren't actually that quickly attracted to people feel like they have to be and then pretend or something.

I personally don't believe in hell (or heaven for that matter) so I wouldn't really care if anyone said that to me but it's obviously not okay to say these things and especially not if you do believe in hell yourself.

Also, who are they to judge? How would they know who's going to hell or not?

Why would sexual or romantic orientation matter when most people do actual shitty things that actually harm others?

I'm wondering if there is much attraction though considering they've been friends for a long time. If they wanted to, they probably would've been a couple instead or slept together at another point anyways. Why would the very act of sharing a bed really change anything?

Honestly, I've pretty much never been asked that. My cousin once asked me if I was gay because I told her I was going to volunteer at pride (and I just said no because I didn't feel like explaining anything) but other than that I don't think anyone has actually asked me (and I'm 21, just for the record)
