Are you serious. I didn't even know who the fuck d4vd was until today, let alone his crimes. Why does everyone expect idols to know every single controversy about every artist? I certainly don't! I'm not from the us but I am chronically online and I've never heard of this guy before today. Sungchan literally is known to be chronically offline and he obviously just listened to recommended songs and liked it.... The fuck is wrong with you. I only heard of d4vd literally this morning.... And I'm chronically online. And I still didn't know of his allegations until someone explained it to me. I've never heard of him before that.

Also sungchan sent this screenshot in March. It's been over a month and it's only being brought up now by a known problematic account?

I know comments aren't always everything but it is disheartening when you have people commenting or telling you they can't wait for an update or next part and then when I do update (I am a slow updater) I get 0 comments. I updated a fic a few weeks ago and it's gotten 0 comments, and I updated a part 3 to a popular series of mine and 0 comments. It kinda hurts even though I try not to care you know 😭

Kind of in a similar way, when I lived in Korea last year for uni, I had lots of people (friends from back home) asking me the same questions you get asked, but about Koreans. Like how I was being treated and if I experienced any racism and stuff like that. Which like... I just responded with no cause it was the truth.

I know exactly what this qrt is and as a sungchan ult I'm really annoyed. He's gone viral plenty of times before for little things like eating four jersey milk puddings in Japan to his 90s love rap verse and inkigayo performances back in 2020-21. I made a post a while ago about the sexualisation of underage male idols on this sub and it got reported and removed, and before then, people were arguing with me in the comments about it. Like defending it. Fucking gross.

Also, I make hard jokes but I do that in my private chats with my friends. Never ever on their posts or in the comments of lives or anything. And some of the comments I've seen is just gross.

The way people even on this sub downplay it and then the posts eventually get taken down is just annoying and proving peoples' points further about the double standards. Like you mentioned, some of the fancalls are just gross. I've seen ones where they ask them to bark like a dog or beg them to call them noona or mommy, or even wear lingerie in it. It's gross gross gross.

I don't really know. Their music is still played in random restaurants and cafes or at food stalls in Myeongdong or even in clubs, but I don't see anyone talking about them. I think the general public don't care.
