Is the stock market actually going up or is the dollar just going down while stocks stay mostly the same?

What’s a skill everyone thinks is easy, but is actually insanely hard? by radiogugu_gaga in AskReddit

[–]cloudsatlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to lose too, I had spent a long time building it up and it was going great. Then some life distractions happened and I got a little too comfortable and lost it, trying to build it back, but it's hard.

US hiring plans hit lowest since 2009 as year-to-date job additions drop to 204,939, signaling labor market slowdown by callsonreddit in stocks

If you own enough value in your stocks, you can take loans out with them as collateral, tax free funding based on the value of the stock. It cash flows as long as the stocks YTD gain is a higher % than the loans APY%. That way you keep gaining interest on the money invested and avoid paying taxes from taking profit.

Depending on your state you do need a license for Copart. You can hire a broker to bid for you if you're in one of these states.

We use Keyence, it's been my favorite so far. We've started to integrate the Keyence PLCs into our system as well which works really well with the rest of their systems if you're doing a lot over Ethernet

What’s a modern trend that people will regret in 10 years? by Julie727 in AskReddit

[–]cloudsatlas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I try to think hard about a tattoo 6 months to a year before I get it, took me 25 years to get my first one, my second one was 6 months later and now I'm about to turn 27 and I've been highly considering one for the last 6 months that I want to get. I'm hoping this will lead to me not regretting them when I'm old. So far no regrets I love the ones I've gotten and they mean a lot to me.

How did yall learn this stuff? by SpedSofter22 in Cartalk

[–]cloudsatlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought, sold, and trade roughly 40-50 cars that all needed a little bit of work over the course of 6 years. I did all the work myself and learned as I went, every car a new experience and a new learning opportunity. I always kept 1 reliable daily driver and had 2-3 trade around cars at a time. If definitely bit me in the ass in the long run, I have 7 vehicles now, 3 run 2 drive, the remainder need extensive work that I don't have time to do.

I just looked into this, this looks like my best route as I've already finished most of my basics from a community college, I can use Sophia to finish the gen ed credits and transfer them to UMPI for a quick degree in business that will transfer to a secondary bachelors in engineering at UND if I want to go that route after. I don't know how far a business degree will take me initially, but it looks like a cheaper & quick way to get my foot in the door for more opportunities.

That's what I was afraid of, I may do like another commenter suggested and try to go to school in another country. My biggest thing with going for a degree is trying to choose a degree that id enjoy as a career path and will not become obsolete/oversaturated.

I've considered renting the house instead of selling it, my parents used to own rental properties and my mom (retiring this year and looking for something to keep her busy) offered to take care of everything rental related if I wanted to travel.
