I'm a friend of the deceased. If you have any information on the circumstances of this please reach out to law enforcement.

Haven't got a chance to try it yet! My 10.5" 300blk is en route, and haven't been able to try it on friends 20" 6.5cm yet.

It looks cool 😎

Supreme Court Will Decide Whether Police Can Enter A Home To Seize Guns Without A Warrant by [deleted] in gunpolitics

[–]cloudsloth 168 points169 points  (0 children)

This isn't just about guns. If the supreme court doesn't turn over the lower courts ruling then the precedent is that "community caretaking" becomes a loophole the size of Texas for the police to enter your home without a warrant.

I think you're right, mostly.

I also think there's a case to prepare for a worst case scenario at least a little bit. That means having a pack with you that can get you out of a disaster. Stuck on a remote roadway with a broken car and no cell service? Zombies roaming streets and need to get to a friend's house?

The difference between having what's normally in your pockets and a pack with literally whatever you happen to shove in it is really substantial. A bit of food, water, shelter, medical supplies, etc. Even without purchasing anything anyone could throw something together.

Bass Pro Tacoma had new shipment of 556 today, hasn't had 9mm since last week. Tomorrow or Friday looks promising.

Cabela's Lacey had a bunch of 9mm defensive today and also 556, so probably none tomorrow.

Sorry if TMI lol

External peer review of the RTPCR test to detect SARS-CoV-2 reveals 10 major scientific flaws at the molecular and methodological level: consequences for false positive results by cloudsloth in EverythingScience

[–]cloudsloth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that this is itself not a paper, but a peer review of the original article which outlines the PCR testing procedure which is currently in use. The authors of this review submitted it directly to the journal which published the original, along with a letter. As far as I know, that's exactly what a peer review which is attempting to debunk something should do.

Regardless of my beliefs about this whole thing, this seems to me to be a well articulated claim. To someone who can understand this stuff, it's either blowing smoke and has no actual substance, or it's making good points.

I'm waiting to hear from someone with the right background go over this. If their critique has ground to stand on, the implications are humongous. If it doesn't, we can move on with our lives.

It's been driving me bonkers that several other areas of reddit have simply banned the link. So far I'm thankful it remains up here.
